Christmas Eve dinners can be hit-or-miss—especially with a full house and a birthday in the mix—but Ristorante Picolinos absolutely nailed it.

I came with my family to celebrate Christmas Eve and a birthday, and from the moment we walked in, the service made us feel genuinely welcomed. Warm, attentive, and effortlessly smooth, even on one of the busiest nights of the year.

Now, the food. Everything was excellent, but the special of the day—the lobster ravioli—was unforgettable. Perfectly cooked pasta, rich yet balanced filling, and a sauce that felt indulgent without being heavy. One of those dishes that makes the table go quiet for a second.

Picolinos delivered exactly what you hope for on a meaningful night: great food, gracious service, and an atmosphere that lets you focus on the people you’re celebrating with. We left full, happy, and already planning a return.

We had my daughter’s birthday dinner ay Picolino’s last night (at her request). The atmosphere was cozy and not too noisy, even though they were busy. There was even an accordion player stoling through the restaurant but she was playing softly so it was really pleasant and added to the vibe. Our waiter was on it, attentive but not pushy. I emailed ahead to arrange something chocolate with a candle and they served her a delicious chocolate mousse cake which she loved.

Everyone’s meal was fantastic. We all remarked how impressed we were with the quality and the experience each time we dine there.

We all sampled each others dishes and the quality was excellent across the board. Will be back!

My husband and I love this place and it is one of our favorites for date nights, entertaining visitors, and even quick dinner. The food is fabulous but I do agree some dishes are on the salty side, usually with more bland mashed potatoes and sautéed vegetables. You cannot go wrong with anything that has carbs as the main ingredient. I always love the pasta sauces and pizzas. They make the best breads and doughs. The cafe next door is also spectacular for apple strudel and bakery goods. We are in at least once a week!

We went here for an early dinner on a busy weekend and thankful we came in early. Our reservations was before 6pm. Service was great when the restaurant wasn’t busy.

It’s quite a large restaurant with lots of tables and an eclectic Italian decor inside. We had a big group and our waiter was very nice. We were celebrating a birthday and we received a complimentary creme brulee for dessert. It was delicious!

The food was good except for the pizzas. I recommend ordering the pasta dishes. Our chopped salad was good though I wish the portion was a little bigger. The pizza was larger than I expected which made it worth the price. The spicy pepperoni pizza was a bit disappointing though. The pizza was soggy in the middle and was just flopping down with the cheese and pepperonis sliding right off.

The tagliatelle and pappardelle pasta dishes were better and our friends enjoyed them.

The food was somewhat ordinary for an Italian restaurant, especially considering the price. The customer service was also not very pleasant; they seemed to be in a constant rush, which was understandable given the number of customers waiting outside. However, the ambiance inside was incredible. There was even a live band performing, and the Christmas decorations were absolutely beautiful, adding to the festive atmosphere.

The best Italian food in Seattle. So happy to have found this place. Easy to make reservations, and they take walk ins but I’d call ahead to ask about any potential wait. The entire experience here is A+. There was a live singer the night we dined. The bread basket and olive oil were amazing. The appetizer and main dishes were amazing. Everything was delicious and we’ll definitely be coming back.

We just had our 2025 Holiday Staff Appreciation Dinner for 32 people and it was perfect. I worked with James to set up all the details and he provided all the options and made the process very easy.

I requested family style serving (as opposed to buffet) and the courses came out timely and all the food was excellent.

We had 2 dedicated servers taking care of us and the service was first class.

Thank you James and team. We’ll be back.

We came here for our anniversary this year and were so impressed. We made reservations ahead of time online. The restaurant itself was so pretty. We really enjoyed the live music (it was not loud, and felt perfect over dinner). Service was great.

We started with brussel sprouts and they brought bread to the table. Both were great starters. But the main courses stole the show especially the special for the evening, lobster ravioli. Just perfect really. The other main was the rigatoni salsiccia, also delicious. The dessert selection was great with the tiramisu being very impressive. Really great texture and balance.

Piccolino’s is that rare neighborhood spot that is perfect for everything—a romantic date, a family dinner, or a special celebration. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was incredibly warm and welcoming, like we were old friends. The service was friendly and attentive all night.
This is true, authentic Italian food. You can tell they use high-quality ingredients. Appetizers are good, love the Brussel sprouts! Pizza from their wood-fire oven, Is perfectly crisp and delicious. For the main course, I had the Ravioli Al Formaggio, and it was divine—the brown butter and sage sauce was incredible. Spaghetti dishes, seafood, or with meatballs are excellent. Always packed with flavor!
whether you sit inside or outside it’s very nice. Outside is a little more relaxing, when it’s cold they have fire pits, and will offer blankets to keep you warm.
Had tramisu for dessert, which was the perfect end to a perfect meal.
Piccolino’s is a true Seattle gem!
