Came on a Sunday around 12:45. The service was great, the food was superb. I got the mushroom pasta (can’t recall their name for it) – was fresh and fabulous. I want more but I’m full. Both the Crab Bisque and and the Maryland Crab soups were the best I’ve had (my wife who is a native Marylander agreed). She had the gnocchi with smoked mozzarella (again, can’t remember their name for it). It was good, but our son said it was too fresh! Overall, great experience. We will definitely be back!

I’ve been to Marco’s several times for dinner, and I love the food. The atmosphere is very welcoming, and you can really tell it’s an Italian Restaurant. I’ve tried different dishes and desserts, and I’ve never been disappointed. The service is pretty decent, and prices are reasonable. I’d strongly recommend Marco’s if you really want to have a taste of authentic Italian food.

There were 9 of us. The mood was killed when your antiquated computer system made paying the bill a problem.
Also ladies room needed soap and a more generous paper towel dispenser.

This Italian restaurant is simply wonderful. I travel a lot for business, and this is one of my favorites across several states. I first tried the place about 8 weeks ago, and I now visit it each week. It is a high point in the week. I discuss the food with the server or the owner (Marco, of course) and usually go with their recommendations. Each time the food has been superb. I started visiting with one associate. Tonight we had eight. The food is excellent, and the service is excellent with personal attention from the owner. Any recommendation I coax out of the staff has been wonderful, and this has been the case with my associates as well. When Marco recommends a wine to try, we often travel back home and rush to our local wine merchant to purchase it. While the main courses are wonderful, you might be cheating yourself by not trying his Tuscan chicken wings, his bacon wrapped scallops, or his shrimp dijon appetizers. The textures and flavors and variety (and some very nice finds in wine) make each visit a wonderful experience. Marco’s turns an evening into a great evening. It’s good for a romantic dinner or a retreat from a busy, hectic day. Treat yourself to a wonderful dining experience with a price that makes you review the check to make sure all the great food and drink was included. I don’t just recommend this place; I take my friends.

Service wasn’t bad. Food was not good at all! Maybe we just got unlucky, but the appetizer tasted like a dirty oven and both entrees were unfinishable. We went to buffalo wild wings next door so we wouldn’t go home hungry. We mentioned our concerns but they were dismissed with an almost insulted attitude

We have found the place to be very inconsistent. Today the food was outstanding but the service was horrible – extremely slow. During peak lunch hour and 1 waitress was covering the entire resturant, the bar and signing for deliveries.
They also try to automatically add a 20% gratitutiy if you have any type of coupon.

15 mins after being seated we were not acknowleged by the staff. After assisting the party of 6 that were seated after us, Marco realized that no one had come over to us and sent one of the waitresses over. We were not given the same treatment as the other patrons, and received our bread after we had eaten our meal. Even as the waitress asked us how we were doing she paid no attention to our answer, because had she really be listening she would have asked us what the problem was.

I enjoyed this restaurant and will go again. The owner came to our table and chatted with us. The food was delicious and the service was great. The recommended red wine was wonderful.

Marco’s is a great place to go for GREAT food. Some of the old reviews mention slow service. OK, yeah maybe but the food and drinks here are comparable to true 4.5 to 5 star places but at half the cost !! Give Marco a shot, you will be happy you did.

Atmosphere: loud. Food quality: sub-par. Staff: respectful. Price: excessive. Would not recommend. Chicken was overcooked, sauce was watered down, and too much bar atmosphere spilled into the resteraunt.
