First time going to this restaurant and it couldn’t have gone better! The service and atmosphere were great. We ordered a burger, and pasta which were excellent. However, the highlight was this appetizer called Fried Calabrian Shrimp. It was so delicious we had to order another round. We were so impressed by the food we had to ask who prepared these meals. We were told their names were Bryan and Jonny. These guys are excellent and deserve a raise for the quality provided. I will definitely recommend this restaurant to others!

Our first time eating here and we were blown away with just how tasty our entrees were! We had Chicken Marsala and Shrimp Scampi and both were beyond delicious!! We tried the Tiramisu and it was the best, authentic one we’ve ever tasted. They use Marsala wine which is traditionally how it’s made. Beyond delicious! We had the stuffed mushrooms also, but didn’t like those very much, but in no way will affect us coming back. Our waitress Ashlen was exceptional and catered to our needs like a pro! They also have boat parking for the lakers needing a great meal. This place is a hidden gem here in Dayton. We will be back when we visit again!

The restaurant has a vibrant atmosphere, though the noise level can be quite high. Acoustic paneling might help to dampen the sound and create a more comfortable dining experience. The space is brightly lit, adding to the energetic vibe.

While the environment can feel a bit chaotic, reducing the noise could improve the overall experience. On a positive note, the staff are exceptionally friendly and attentive, ensuring we always have a full glass of soda.

The welcoming and cheerful service enhanced our visit. Beer prices are reasonable, with bottles ranging from $4.50 to $6 and drafts from $6 to $8.

The aromas from the kitchen were enticing, making us eager to try the food. Our meal arrived promptly—ordered at 6:30 and served by 6:45. However, the portion sizes were somewhat small, leaving both of us still a bit hungry after our entrees.

We decided to indulge in dessert, and the tiramisu was a standout—moist, delicious, and well worth it. The total bill for two people, including two sodas, two entrees, and two desserts, came to around $100, which is on the pricier side.

We went a week after they opened so still a soft opening, but the food was tasty and service was great! Modern clean space with views of the lake. What a great location! The fresh take on chicken Marsala was fun and delicious. We will be back. Best of luck to the owners! Thank you for bringing great dining options to Dayton❣️

Last min find!!! It’s a KEEPER, in the small town of Dayton, Tennessee. Very unexpected, classy and beautiful Italian restaurant. Everything is made to order in homemade. Even the desserts are homemade. The service is impeccable. They are so friendly and so welcoming. I had shrimp scampi and they sirloin steak on the side with mushrooms. I also got a Caesar salad salad and the appetizer of artichoke stuffed mushrooms. Everything was perfect. The sirloin was probably one of the best I’ve ever had in my lifetime. This restaurant is a must not only for the atmosphere and the service, but the food is spectacular.

The food at Luca is so authentic and fresh. The appetizers and Entrees were so full of flavor. I enjoyed the aesthetic of the restaurant and the waitresses were very attentive and eager to serve. We had Amber Rose and she took great care of us during our dinner. Highly recommend to anyone who is visiting the Dayton area or a local looking for a great Italian dinner. 10/10.

Let me just start out by saying I’m literally qualified to review the fine Italian establishment known as LUCA because I’ve watched 2 seasons of the Sopranos.

The main question is does the quality match the price? I completely believe it does. No, it’s not an everyday place to go if you’re one of the “poors” but it would be a nice little treat for when you win on a scratch-off.

The food was obviously fresh and made in house. Not sure who the chef is but if he’s white, he sure has gotten some lessons cause the food was flavorful af.

Service was great. We had a lady named Marisa who was always quick to attend to our needs. Full disclosure….I require a TON of refills. She was always quick.

I’ll be going back

The restaurant is clean, and has a nice atmosphere. The food was delicious, we started with some wings made Luca’s way. We had the Chicken Parm sandwich and the Orecchiette. Everything had fantastic flavors. Our waitress Nicole was fabulous!

We stopped in for an early dinner on a Saturday afternoon and were seated quickly. Our server arrived right away and service throughout the meal was good. We took advantage of the Happy Hour half-price appetizer (spinach dip and crispy flatbread), which was yummy.
I ordered the Chicken Picatta entree, and was perplexed by what I received. It was a bed of nicely prepared pasta (lemony garlic butter sauce with capers and artichokes) BUT topped with a battered and deep fried, smallish chicken breast. The centerpiece of proper chicken picatta is a chicken cutlet, flour-dredged and pan fried. Overall, it tasted fine, but wasn’t authentic Italian. Maybe it was the Southern fried version?
My spouse ordered the salmon, which was well prepared, along with the mac-and-cheese (very good).
We decided to get dessert, so I ordered tiramisu and coffee. We were informed that they do not serve coffee. What? An Italian restaurant with no coffee? Again, we were perplexed. So we asked for the tiramisu to be boxed To Go, (so we could have it with coffee at home), though I took a bite while we waited for our check. It was not at all what other reviewers have raved about. It was quite dense with an almost rubbery top layer, not light and fluffy as it should have been. The flavor wasn’t bad, but the texture was so off-putting that I ate just a few bites at home.
So at this price point, our mixed experience has earned an overall 3-star rating.
