Most wonderful food and atmosphere – especially for a tourist hotspot. Our server Michael, was the absolute best. Neri was also a wonderful help and introduced us to the chef. We love this place and come here everytime we visit Firenze!

Genuinely one of the best meals I’ve had. From the service to the atmosphere to the food itself, the dining experience is next level. Claudio was incredibly kind in showing us what the steak and wine options were, and personally came to check on us throughout the meal. He is truly one of the kindest people I have ever met. Amazing restaurant too, with an ancient well and ceiling. Will recommend to anyone visiting Florence!

This charming restaurant was so delightful that we ate there twice in the same day! The food was wonderful but what drew us back was the patience, kindness, and hospitality of a wonderful waiter named Luciano. Upon finishing lunch, we were invited to see the lovely dining room and the open kitchen in which the delicious food was lovingly prepared. Inside I participated in a hilarious custom that all wives would appreciate. I won’t spoil it but it involves a rope, a bell, and a very deep well! The pizza is terrific as well as the risotto with pears and a red wine reduction. We sat outside as the patio is in the shade at lunch time and there are little jets of cooling mist if you are lucky enough to get a table at the perimeter. The Piazza Della Signora makes for marvelous people-watching, horse-drawn carriages amble past, and as it is a Jubilee year, pilgrims from all over the world singing achingly beautiful songs of faith make their way across the piazza.
