From the service to the food and even the atmosphere, this place was just amazing! Never had calamari or mussels so good! Everything was absolutely delicious! It was my mom’s birthday and the owner was just the kindest and warmest person when he greeted her. He was the icing in the cake. I would highly recommend this place to Everyone. Worth every penny!

Not bad, but it’s not an authentic Italian restaurant. The menu has some grammatical errors, the Bolognese sauce isn’t quite the traditional version and I thought there was too much garlic in the appetizer.

The food was ok, but not outstanding.
The busser seemed a little annoyed by his work, but our server and the rest of the staff were really friendly and attentive.
The place is nice and modern, but it’s a bit pricey and formal.

Overall, it’s a decent option if you’re looking for a dinner, but don’t expect an authentic Italian experience.

We went to celebrate my sister’s birthday last Sunday. I really dont do Italian, but this restaurant was ok. The service was phenomenal. The owner and the staff were very attentive and friendly. The appetizers were okay. The disappointment started with the calamari they just served rings, no tentacles, and they were overcooked and chewy. The crab cake was decent, but they should use a lump crab for the price. The linguine and clams were awesome. I enjoyed the fresh pasta. Everyone else enjoyed their meal as well. The cheesecake cake and the limoncello cake were great. I would definitely go back again. To try other pasta dishes that are on the menu. Go check it out. I think you would enjoy it

My husband brought me here for the first time tonight and though the food was delicious and I was excited to eat at an Italian restaurant after losing my Italian grandfather recently, we had a terrible experience due to the service we received from our waiter. In short, he was extremely rude and aggressive.

When I let him him know I have a severe allergy to egg and dairy and asked if any of the dishes I was considering were safe to eat, he gave me extreme attitude. I did not want to be rude so I didn’t ask if the pasta was homemade, as that would mean it had egg on it. When he seemed annoyed by my asking if the pasta had egg in it, I finally asked if it was boxed pasta and he said yes so I knew it was safe for me to eat.

Then, when my husband went to order the chicken parm, he told us how he wishes they would take that off the menu because it is no good. We came here because he loved the chicken parm so much the last time he ate here so this was off putting and disappointing to hear. I’m sure the owner would be sad to hear this it what waiter was telling customers.

Finally, after 2 glasses of wine and a tasty meal (that I am now extremely doubtful was allergen free!) I ordered a cappuccino and when it arrived I said, “I’m sorry for being a pain but can you please confirm this has no milk in it?” And he gave me the nastiest look and said “of course it has milk in it, I thought
It was weird that you ordered it….” And made me feel so silly I cried at our dinner table….thankfully I don’t think he say.

After that encounter he was scarce and another, nicer server took our card to pay.

Unfortunately I have a terrible taste in my mouth from this experience and am likely not returning. On top of all of that, I may have eaten food I am allergic to because of our careless and egotistical server which is scary.

My boyfriend and I LOVE this Italian restaurant. Everything we get is magnificent! It’s authentic and it’s always so fresh. Their meatballs are very good to start, you can tell they put love into the food. We always finish our meal with Espresso’s and or cappuccinos, they are great ! I highly recommend dining here.

What a wonderful meal my daughter and I had last night at Ristaurante di Sofia. We are new to the area and this was our first time dining here. A neighborhood gem! The service was fabulous… So welcoming and very professional. The food was absolutely delicious. We will most certainly make this our number one go to spot!

Upon walking in, we were greeted by the host. We said we have a party of two. He asked if we had a reservation and we said no. The manager abruptly says, “The bar.” I asked what about it. He said very sternly that we need a reservation to sit at a table. I was seated at the bar and wasn’t greeted by the bartender but had a menu tossed to me by him and didn’t say a word to me. At that point, I got up and left and decided to take my money elsewhere. Not sure what is with the attitude problem they have here, but I have received better customer service from the Burger King across the street. Do better if you don’t want to end up with your doors closed.

I would really reconsider eating here instead consider Biagios in the northern part of town!Ordered to go veal and shrimp gnocchi. When I presented a gift certificate as payment , I was treated with suspicion over it’s authenticity !?! I was further interrogated as to who signed it?? Even know it’s not stated anywhere on the gift certificate or on establishment that gift certificate is for dine in only the employee informed us that it was for dine in only and was making an exception this time only . Indeed you are sir , humiliated is how I left your establishment . I will say the food was excellent in flavor . Extremely small portions but well crafted and made . With countless choices of excellent Italian quisine in close proximity your food alone with unprofessional customer service is not enough to return or recommend .

The food and service was exceptional! Out Server, Hako, was so sweet and attentive and made our dining experience that much better.
The pappardelle Bolognese was probably the best I’ve had outside of Italy.
Can’t wait to come back again and again
