This is a family owned business, mom made desserts, one brother is the chef, the other one is waiter. The food was great, beyond our expectation. The fish and shrimp were all wild caught and were extremely fresh. We do not speak Italian, the waiter explained every item on the menu to us very patiently. This is the best dining experience we had during our vacation in Rome. We will definitely come back.

Read about this place in a BBC article, so expected many tourists. We were the only ones as the place was packed with locals. Every dish on the menu is fish or shellfish- based, and every bite was amazing. The fried anchovies was a highlight as was the smoked tuna dish. It was a $20 euro cab ride from the Trevi fountain area. Did not have dessert but that also looked amazing.

We had a disappointing experience overall. The server (old man) was quite rude and displayed a poor attitude throughout our visit. Despite ordering four dishes, the food was very basic and lacked flavor. Additionally, the staff did not seem welcoming, which added to the negative impression. Unfortunately, we would not recommend this place based on our experience.

The seafood is fresh and delicious with vibrant flavors and cooked perfectly. The taste of the food is refreshing and not like the typical Roman dishes one gets in the more touristy areas of Rome. The service is top with many of the workers being part of the same family. They are friendly and welcoming. It’s my new favorite restaurant in Rome.

My girlfriend and me where looking for a nice place to have dinner and we stumbled over this place and we dont regret it for one second. We had a wonderful time with good food and ended up working our way through the menu starting with salomon carpacio, followed by a risotto with different sea food, spagetti vongola, grilled calamari and finished with wonderful ricotta. All together for 53€! Included was a Liter of water and half a liter the house wine.
Go there if you have the chance!
