It was very tasty and carefully prepared.
The starter of vegetables was too good value for money at 8€ for this quantity.
The dish made the most of the flavours of the ingredients.
The owner was very nice and mischievous, responding sincerely to our requests.
It is a pity that I could not eat the dessert they served us due to my circumstances
This restaurant was clean and the toilets were clean!
I would go back in the near future !

Small Gem in Antwerp!
We had a great night dining out at this small family-run restaurant to celebrate my birthday yesterday.
All dishes were delicious & good value & felt very authentic. A group of italians also came to dine – only further proving the authenticity.
Interior is really nice & all tables are well served. The restaurant owner was a very kind woman – she had even arranged balloons as a surprise to hang at our table when she had learned the occasion was a birthday.
Highly recommend.

Beautiful restaurant with pleasant and helpful staff and owner. Delicious food and also freshly made. The master chef’s ability to accommodate a diet restriction was greatly appreciated. The Truffle Ravioli and Spinach Tagliolini was exceptional. Highly recommend walking a block further away from the hubbub along the water.

The Ristorante De Aldo, is a small italian restaurant, which we randomly stumbled across. It was definitely worth everything.
It is a small cozy place with a beautiful owner. With our rusty school Italian and French we communicated in a fun way, which made the evening pretty entertaining and enjoyable throughout the whole experience.
We have ordered the cabonara and lemon ricotta. It took only a few minutes to prepare, but the chef looked out for us and informed us personally, that it would take a couple minutes longer than expected. Which we comprehended as exceptionally great hospitality.
The food itself was perfect, we both travel a lot throughout the world and are extreme food and culture enthusiasts.
And overall we have to say, that it has been the best italian food we have ever had. Even in italy we haven’t got this experience. The closest experience we have had in terms of high quality italian food was in Malta, which has a high Sicilian population.
Bellissima, we will comeback.

I ate my nonna’s food so I think I can say, wauw finally some real good Italian food! I had the amatriciana and a taste of the ossobuco and the maiale al forno and all were sooo so so good. They know how to make meat, pasta the true Italian way here. Will be back very soon! Lovely service too ♡

Very good food with quality ingredients. The restaurant has a unique balance between fine dining and a home-like atmosphere. Went there twice with big groups (14-18 people) and the proprietors were very flexible, generous and did everything to make us enjoy. Would truly recommend!
