We came back twice to this wonderful fish taverne. The food is fabulous, super tasty, very fresh, and delicious. We chose the lentil salad with ansjovies marinated, the best salad ever!! Grilled dorade and fried shrimps with a greek salad. Every dish was super delicious. As desert you should try the orange cake with their icecream what a delight!
We strongly recommend anyone that loves seafood for a very good price, to come here.

Great location, super authentic! Sea bass in the oven is a must!! Fries were freshly made and super crunchy. Salmon was not as good as we expected, but the overall experience was good.

Nice place to have seafood. Arrived @1330 & grap a table outside . But around 14:00 there was already a queue in front of the restaurant.
We had grilled and oven sardines- grilled one was a bit dry- grilled too much i guess. We also had Raki for drink- be careful not the same as the one in Turkey -taste was like grappa. Chips and peppers are delicious. We paid 37eur for 2 people.

That sounds like a fantastic meal! Here is a polished, professional review you can post directly to Google Maps.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ High-End Quality without the Wait
I had an incredible dining experience here. The atmosphere is upscale and refined, but the service is remarkably efficient and welcoming.
The Food:
* The Main: I ordered the grilled fish, and it was executed perfectly—crispy skin, flaky, and packed with flavor.
* The Standout: The beetroot salad was genuinely one of the best salads I’ve ever had. The flavors were perfectly balanced.
* The Extras: Don’t skip the grilled sardines; they were seasoned beautifully and grilled to perfection.
The Verdict:
It’s rare to find a place that hits the sweet spot of an upscale vibe, fast service, and reasonable prices. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a top-tier seafood dinner!

Tucked away on a small and narrow street, this modest local restaurant sits far from the main tourist areas of Athens. If you find yourself here, it’s likely not by accident. We visited based on a friend’s recommendation but, unfortunately, left somewhat disappointed.

The place offers simple, inexpensive local food — fresh but unremarkable. The squid was cooked properly, soft and not rubbery. The fish soup, however, lacked flavor — no seasoning, no depth, nothing particularly exciting.
The peppers were a pleasant surprise, nicely prepared and full of taste — perhaps the best part of the meal.
A regular Greek salad rounded out the experience, fresh and straightforward.

Service was fast, even during the busier hours. Although one dish was mistakenly served, it was quickly corrected with no additional charge — a nice touch.

Overall, this is a decent option for a casual, budget-friendly meal away from the tourist crowds. You’ll find food similar to what’s offered in the Plaka area, but at a lower price. Nothing special — just honest, fresh local cooking.

We visited the legendary Atlantikos in Athens for lunch back in September on a hot day. It didn’t disappoint! We ordered the Greens, Fried Seafood Platter (shrimp, calamari and anchovies) and Grilled Sardines. Perhaps the best seafood we ate in our time in Athens! All the seafood was so fresh. Cooked basically but so much flavour. The price is so cheap considering what we ordered. This small restaurant is a must visit when you are in Athens. We will be back!

It was right under our hotel and food looked so good so we had to try. You would think that people come here for the price because it is very reasonable, but the food is delicious. You may be waiting for a while to sit, but once you sit service is quick, food is great.
Definitely recommend it.

Absolutely delicious. Fresh seafood, large portions and at a very affordable price. A must try!

I think they have a new shop (?) which is different to the alleyway entrance down in other images.

I’ve added a image of the new shop so it’s easier to identify.

Amazing and understated seafood restaurant in Psirri! Very modest place and the staff is so kind. The seafood is great and prices are very fair. Definitely try the mussels with feta dish.

I didn’t expect to find such a great value for money seafood spot in such a central area. The seafood was fresh, everything we tried was delicious, and the staff were excellent. Highly recommended, with very reasonable prices.
