Had an amazing experience at Ristorante Alessio. The food was absolutely incredible – fresh, full of flavour, and clearly made with care. Every dish we had was spot on and honestly some of the best Italian food I’ve had in a long time.
The service was just as impressive. Our server was genuinely amazing – friendly, attentive, and made us feel really welcome from start to finish without ever being over the top. He really added to the whole experience, and we were more than happy to leave him a tip because the service deserved it.
Great atmosphere, amazing food, and top-tier service. Can’t recommend this place enough and will 100% be coming back!

Me and my girlfriend (we’re from Sweden) visited this restaurant during our trip to Rome, and wow! Without a doubt, these were the best waiters we’ve had in all of Rome. We ended up eating here twice because we simply couldn’t stay away.
The first time I had a pizza that was absolutely amazing, and the second time I went for an incredibly tasty seafood pasta. Everything was perfectly cooked and full of flavor.
We even asked if they could make a Swedish classic drink a ”Kaffe Karlsson” and even though it’s probably not a standard order in Rome, they nailed it! That’s what we call top-level service.
A special thanks to Simone (Mr International), Joseph, and Diego, who were incredibly friendly, fun, and professional. The service we received here honestly beats anything we’ve experienced, both in Sweden and in Rome.
When we came back the second time, we were even welcomed with complimentary drinks, which made us feel extra appreciated.
Highly recommended! We will definitely be back next time we’re in Rome.

Food and service were exceptional! We especially loved the grilled fish, caramel panna cotta and moscato white wine! The wine was nice and sweet which we enjoyed. Cappuccino was also delicious. Service was very friendly and prompt. Perfect way to end our trip to Italy. Would definitely come back on our next trip to Rome!

We are a couple and decided to dine at Restaurant Alessio, where we chose a €45 set menu from the menu. Unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing and far from what was advertised.
From the entire set menu, we were served only one salmon and one calamari, without any side dishes and without the salad, even though the menu clearly stated that these were included. In addition, the glasses of Prosecco that were part of the set menu were never served.
When we asked the staff why the set menu was incomplete and why the salad and Prosecco were missing, the justification we received was that we had ordered a bottle of wine. This explanation makes no sense, as ordering a bottle of wine should not cancel or replace items included in a fully paid set menu.
A serious restaurant should respect what is written on the menu and deliver exactly what is promised. Unfortunately, this experience did not justify the price and left us very dissatisfied.

Food came on my table faster than i finish my cigarette, i know that they have a lot of work but every food needs some time to be cooked. They also bring bread without asking and charged me but i told this and they cancelled. Waiters were nice .

A nice unexpected little surprise, we didn’t have much expectations since the patrons of the restaurant were mostly tourists, including ourselves. First meal in Italy that most of us did not order pasta, turned out to be a very delicious and fulfilling meal! The suckling pig, the seabass and sea bream were nicely grilled and seasoned. The fried calamari was great too. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Very good food, service and atmosphere! We had an accordion player that night which added to the ambiance. The pasta with seafood was so flavorful. Pleasantly surprised! Beware – they do bring bread which you are charged for but we didn’t mind since most restaurants have a cover charge with no bread. AND …we ended dinner and dessert with a limoncello surprise on the house!

I tried the risotto and it was very good but it only had one piece of shrimp for the flavor. I tried the ravioli, it was good but not to my taste as it has so much tomato. The pannacotta was amazing. Overall I recommend the restaurant.
