Authentic flavors and cozy vibes!
Rising Sun Pop-Up Ramen is a hidden gem! The broth is rich and flavorful, noodles cooked just right, and the toppings are fresh and generous. You can really taste the care and craftsmanship in every bowl. The staff were welcoming and the pop-up atmosphere made it feel like a special experience. Highly recommend to any ramen lover — I’ll definitely be back!

You can customize ramen options for yourself that add some interest. Very Japanese style.❤️‍

Ramen was really good! there are five differences broth can choose.
We chose Tonkotsu and Miso. rich flavors and fresh ingredients. And their chicken karaage so good!

In addition to ramen, I saw that they also added curry rice and sushi.

A great lunch raman food joint that will not disappoint You can build your own raman or Japanese curry. It is in the same physical space of Tipsy Samurai that is closed during lunch time.

The service is excellent, and the food is yummy, and it can be either vegan or vegetarian, though there is no tofu protein option.

And the tips are donated to non for profit Japanese school

Heard about Rising Sun Pop-Up Ramen from a friend, and my only regret is not trying it sooner! The ramen was absolutely delicious, with rich flavours and fresh ingredients that made every bite amazing – (get the shiitake mushrooms!!). And an extremely generous helping! I was also thrilled to find gluten-free options on the menu! The staff were friendly and attentive, making the experience even better. We will definitely be back for more!

Today I wanted to try the Rising Sun Pop-Up Ramen in @tipsysamurai ! They’re open week day lunch hours. It was a genuine Japanese experience! Very similar to Ichiran’s solo dining experience in Japan. In this case, you don’t have to come solo.

On my paper, I got a 20oz ($11), with Star Premium Tonkotsu Pork Broth. I added on roasted garlic oil ($1.5), 2 pieces of pork with a marinated egg ($4), buttered corn ($1), Naruto fish cakes ($1), and green onion ($1). Totalling $19.50 before tax.

I really enjoyed it! It’s a fun way to experience ramen, have a quick lunch and it tasted good.

My only suggestion is that they also make a block for noodle texture. My noodles were firm, when I would have liked medium or soft noodles. But, I will write this down next time either way.

Also! They don’t accept tips! This is a huge reflection of Japanese culture. It’s very much a serve yourself experience. You literally just sit down, fill out your form, give your form to the bar, grab your own water and sit down. They only bring you your food, check on you once and clean up after you. If you decide to tip, the tips go to charity.

We love going here for lunch. Easily one of our favourite restaurants in Regina. Their soup tastes rich and authentic and never misses. I forgot to take a picture when we got the food because I was too excited to dig in.

Absolutely phenomenal, a must try. Best Ramen in Regina hands down. Owner was very kind and courteous, food was out quickly, tasted great, refreshments were great. Also shoutout to the owner who dealt with a very unpleasant and unreasonable person in a very measured and professional fashion. I’ll absolutely be coming back.

I had lunch at Raising Sun Ramen today, and it was incredible. I ordered the “Heaven’s Door” shoyu ramen, and it was absolutely delicious—the best bowl of shoyu ramen I’ve found in this city. I’m excited to try the tonkatsu “Star Platinum” next, and I’m really looking forward to what the future holds for this promising new ramen spot

Excellent ramen, on par with spots I’ve been to in Vancouver. Broth was rich and had a slight viscosity, noodles were al dente, egg was jammy in the middle and chasiu slices were large and tender. My only comment would be it’d be nice if the negi portion was bigger and they were chopped finely instead of shredded. Will be back to try their other broths!
