I ordered chicken tikka biryani, but instead I received veg biryani with chicken tikka . This is not what I ordered. Very disappointing and careless service.
They dont know what is the chicken tikka biryani, thats why the restaurant delivered veg biryani along with chicken tikka instead. This is a completely different dish and not acceptable. Please check biriyani orders properly before dispatching. Very disappointed.even no tasty

Rishi’s Indian Aroma in Aberdeen delivers an authentic and memorable South Indian dining experience, perfect for anyone craving a blend of traditional flavours in a welcoming setting. The extensive menu features classics like dosa, chole bhature, thali, paneer dishes, and plenty of options for vegetarians and non-vegetarians alike. The lively atmosphere and attentive staff make it a top spot for dinner with friends or family. Food is freshly prepared—dosas are crisp and generously filled, curries rich and flavourful, and portions generous, with value set meals available for sharing. Vegetarian and vegan-friendly, inventive mocktails and desserts, and elegant presentation add a special touch. Highly recommended for anyone in Aberdeen looking for a vibrant, genuinely crafted Indian meal that’s as much about hospitality as it is about taste

How have we never been here before (?) was the question we asked ourselves after a delicious lunch here. This place was visited by an acquaintance last weekend and came highly recommended by them. We were aware there was a buffet lunch offer on and decided what way to cheer ourselves up during the January Blues than to enjoy authentic cuisine. We were given a warm welcome on arrival and everything was explained to us including what ingredients went into the dishes. Everything was fresh and cooked healthily (what I mean by this is that there were no heavy oils). There was also a pot of vegetable soup which was great considering the weather we are having. The buffet at £14.99 per person was excellent value considering you could have as little or as much as you wanted. I didn’t go overboard but did try everything and I left feeling very satisfied. I understand the buffet is a trial for January but I really hope it continues. It would make an excellent pre-theatre venue. Regardless,we will definitely return

The food was good, and the service was friendly. I tried the lamb tikka biryani, and it was delicious with a generous portion size. All the staff were friendly and cooperative. My only concern about the restaurant is the seating arrangement, which I found a bit congested.

First time here and tbh its possibly the best curry house in Aberdeen. As my 5 stars suggest everything was wonderful food, staff and atmosphere. I saw some comments about the Dosa’s which we had as a starter, and wowee it was tremendous looking and tasted the same. Everything else was the same again and the prices are very reasonable.

I hope this review reaches the owner. It’s disappointing to see a business run by a manager who is extremely rude to customers. We are regular customers and ignored many past issues, but the problems have continued. The service has become very poor and basic requests like water are ignored repeatedly, forcing us to ask many times or even take our plates to the counter for takeaway. There have also been repeated takeaway mistakes, such as receiving veg instead of non-veg and vice versa, which is unacceptable. Today the situation crossed the limit when the manager came out and shouted at us over a note written on the receipt, leading to a heated and unprofessional argument.
Wearing formal clothes does not make someone a good F&B manager, respect and customer handling do. We are paying customers and deserve basic respect. While the food is good and rare to find in Aberdeen, this kind of management ruins the entire experience. I sincerely hope the owner or senior management takes strict action on this matter.

We are on a business trip and I brought my two colleagues one Sottish and one Aussie to experience the Indian food. And they really loved it.
The dosa was proper South Indian and the Chole Batura was proper North Indian unlike the one in south India.
We also ordered a Thali and it was super filling.
Ended with some Gulab Jamun
Special thanks to the chef
