It’s hard to believe that anybody would not love this bakery and every product they make. They created the bread they call Cape Cod. If you like the idea of bread being warm, you should give this place a try. You can eat warm bread and support local small business. Hard to beat.

Unfortunately the lady at the window doesn’t know how to do business. Half of the transaction is the way the customer is treated. I try to buy local. I tried for the second time. Same attitude, almost as if she is doing me a favor, not really wanting to. I’m still buying local from a bakery, but I’m going to Middlesex for that. Barre lost a customer.

Jim and Larissa are the real deal in the artisan baking world. Their delicious old world wood fired sourdough breads, focaccia bread and their other baked products are made from scratch with a lot of time, love and muscle power. Their holiday stollen breads are incredible and should be a family gift tradition!

I can’t say enough good things about this bakery!! So that croissant that I ordered has got to be one of the best croissants that I’ve had outside of New York City or Paris France. Without a doubt you need to get the fig and cheese croissant. The only bad thing I can say about this place is that they don’t make enough they have lines to get their stuff and then they run out. What the heck? I’m not sure why they don’t follow a basic principle of supply and demand and increase their supply because their stuff is so amazing they need to make more!! I mean it’s a fantastic bakery with amazing Lee good baked goods so they need to make some more! I heard some guy in there complaining saying that he’s been there six times and lives in the neighborhood and each time that he’s calm they’ve been sold out of the specific item that he wants. To me that’s on acceptable as a business to practice that way.

The people here are very rude! Placed an order at the window and was told to come back next week. When I came back to pick up my order. This older woman said we didn’t make that as we didn’t have time to busy. The man then came over and said we didn’t take any orders for that as he was the one who originally wrote the order down. Such a waste of time!! These people should not run a business if they have no customer service skills! Highly don’t recommend!

My 86 year old German mother said it was the best bread she has had since her last visit home, (35 years ago). She bought liverwurst and cheese and ate an open faced sandwich that brought back memories of her childhood. Thanks Nancy P for thinking of mom.

No cuban bread, it’s very easy to make when you have the proper tools(you do) this coupled with the fact you cannot get this bread anywhere in town(great for sandwiches) having cuban bread wpild be instant 5 star.
