I ordered the bacon, egg and cheese biscuit with a side of cheesy grits. They were both phenomenal, the sandwich had plenty of bacon while the egg was fried perfectly. The cheesy grits was seasoned well and had a great creamy texture. I wasn’t a fan of the coffee that tasted a little burnt. The staff was friendly, so I would definitely go back to try out some other things on their menu.

I had such a pleasant first visit to Rise today! As a vegetarian it can be challenging to find a hearty biscuit breakfast sandwich, but i immediately saw the fried green tomato and pimento option that i added an egg to. What stood out even more than the delicious food was the welcoming and warm employee who helped walk me through the screen ordering process and provided useful input on the modification options. Wish i got his name because he was so friendly and kind!! Will be returning! Thank you!

I was excited to see Rise in Richmond pop up when I searched for nearby food because I’d greatly enjoyed it in Raleigh a few years back. I ordered twice this week—today and two days ago. One I scheduled for pickup at 1:15 pm and the other I picked up “asap” (ready in 15 min). While everything feels expensive these days, their prices are excellent all things considered. My total was under $40 both times. The food was excellent both times. My mom ordered the sweet country blues add a runny egg and then guacamole smash add pimento cheese with fried okra. I ordered the chix and grits add scrambled eggs x2 (no onion no boom boom) both times. We also got drinks and extra strawberry and blueberry glazes biscuits. We loved everything we got which is why I went returned and will return again in a few days (I’m on a chicken and grits kick now). The only thing I will mention is my dish was missing the cheddar cheese today, but it’s no big deal and I ordered very close to closing so they may have run out. Nonetheless my food was 10/10 chefs kiss. The people working are very friendly. I photographed my food only because I wasn’t thinking about the review.

Love this place! It is small but one of kind in Short Pump. I ordered Fried Green Tomato with Scrambled Egg, my mom said it was the best Biscuit sandwich she ever had. The Fried Green Tomato slices were crunchy and it was a perfect balance with the Cheddar Biscuit. I had the Buffalo Chicken, loved the diced celery and blue cheese sauce with the Buffalo Chicken. Southern Chicken was also a hit at our house. Biscuits were fluffy and not dry at all. Everything was made fresh and people worked there were super friendly. My order was done really quickly. You should give it a try if you haven’t visited the Rise. They open at 7 AM and close at 2 PM seven days a week.

I was a Maple Street Biscuit fan, then a coworker suggested i give Rise a shot…I couldn’t be more satisfied as I was with Rise. My breakfast sandwich was a two hander and the blueberry biscuit it’s Bojangles to shame. Everything was very presentable and the staff was SUPER friendly. I can’t wait to return for the lunch menu! I highly recommend Rise Biscuit and Righteous Chiken!

Stopped in for a breakfast sandwich… I opted for their Nashville hot style chicken biscuit. When I got inside, I noticed they had no cashiers, rather they prefer to use a tablet for customers to place their own orders. So, you might want to simply use their website ordering before you arrive and it’ll be there when you get there, probably in one of their pickup lockers.
The guy working there was friendly and helpful. They don’t have a dining room, per se, rather a bench along a wall with a slat of wood to eat on, sort of like a skinny bar. This was adequate for me to eat my sandwich before leaving. The food tasted great! The biscuit was tasty and nice a nice texture and the chicken was very flavorful and not too spicy. Definitely would return!

I’d call this place a crystal in the rough. If you know strip-mall land. 🙂 anyway a great place to go out of your way to have a great breakfast or lunch.

Quick, contactless service. I ordered ahead and it was hot and ready when I arrived. I absolutely love the grits with cheese, perfectly made and great consistency. I tried the cinnamon bun biscuit for the first time and “oh my” it was amazing. It tasted really great and was so heavy I could only eat pieces at a time.

Convenient pickup options for breakfast, you order online & text you when ready… the blueberry glazed biscuit is sooo good when made fresh, you can also make it into a sandwich…BUT beware of the iced coffee…$5.00 and you have to make it yourself. There are only 2 options for syrup (caramel & vanilla) and vanilla was empty. Would not recommend the drinks. Make sure you choose a biscuit you like because it can get pricey. You barely interact with the staff.. self check out etc.

I have the Sweet Country Blues! It was exactly how it’s is described. Sweet and savory flavors. The biscuit was fresh and made with real pieces of blueberries! The biscuit itself does not need additional toppings of egg and cheese! Next time, I will get without. Nevertheless, the sandwich was great! I highly recommended! I will come again and have a dessert.
