Everything we ordered was great for our first time. Customer service lacked a bit- no greeting , just standing there waiting. Then I noticed the two screens on the wall for pending and ready orders. I figured it’s more self service pick up. Luckily we ordered online because another guest was holding up the self service ordering machine the whole time I was there. Definitely adding this to our rotation!
Also most if not all of the menu was locally sourced! Loved that !

Great biscuits. Very filling. Doesn’t break the bank. If recommed the hot honey butter chicken biscuit. The cheddar biscuit needs further evaluation since I ate it cold and didn’t add any butter. It was still good but I think it definitely needs to be eaten warm. This is a take out. No dining in.

Great Biscuits & Chicken!
Tried Rise for the first time, and it was really good. The biscuits were soft and buttery and the fried chicken was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The grits had great flavor and tied everything together. Definitely a solid spot if you’re craving, It’s also a really easy place for pickup—order ahead. Perfect if you want a quick, delicious breakfast without the wait. Definitely coming back!

I’ve driven past here a couple of times and finally tried it today. All I can say is WOW, totally exceeded my expectations.
This is a take out place, when you enter, there’s a kiosk to order. Or you can place your order ahead and time and pickup.
Staff are extremely friendly and helpful.
The glazed blueberry biscuit is a must, moist and just the right amount of sweetness that didn’t feel overboard. Cheddar tots melt in your mouth, chicken was tender and didn’t feel super heavy, and the chocolate cake donut was also amazing! There’s so much to try, I’ll definitely be back for more!

I got the breakfast box and the chicken strips were unbelievably dry and chewy. I didn’t even want the chicken strips but adding a protein is required. The tots were good. Maybe I will order again when I want some fries or tots

I can’t say enough about our visit today, Phyllis, David and the team are running things right. Everything was hot and delicious and they made us feel so welcome. Everything came out fast and fresh and everything was running like a well oiled machine. Thank you for making us feel like family! You guys are amazing! Well worth the drive from Rosslyn. Can’t wait to visit again.

This is a newly opened take out restaurant. No sitting just take out, and it works very well. Ordering online in the restaurant is quick, easy, and user-friendly. Same with the app which I recommend so you can earn rewards! The staff is very nice and ready to help with placing orders, and help the older people who need a bit of help with technology, but like I said, it’s super easy to use. I was there on a busy day at lunchtime, and it didn’t take too long to get my order. The food!! OMG, I had never had biscuits like these. Delicious the chicken was also very good. Try the blueberry biscuits! The menu is extensive, so I can’t wait to go back and try something else soon. My family loved it as well!

Great location, amazing customer service, but the food was “ok”, and it could have been great.
New to the area and I saw this place as I was driving by. Decided to stop in, the location is bright and vibrant (nice modern feel) the service was superb (smiles and kindness), however, when I got my order (bacon, egg, & cheese on the buttermilk biscuit), instead of it being “warm & fluffy”, it was “cold & crumbly”. I had to wait for the order, which was no problem, so I assumed it would be warm and hot, however it was cold (not even room temperature), like it had been made hours ago and was just wrapped and put in a bag. The glazed blueberry biscuit was better, but again it wasn’t hot (or even warm).

Edit: stopped by this morning to get a biscuit with scrambled eggs, country ham, and pimento cheese. Got home to find out they left off the cheese. Minus one star.
The Good: these biscuits are AWESOME. They are flaky and savory, and don’t fall apart as a sandwich. The country ham is salty and delicious. The blueberry biscuits are decadent and sweet, loaded with berries, and covered in a melt in your mouth glaze. The Bad: I arrived at 11 on Sunday morning and it took 25 minutes to get 1 biscuit sandwich and 3 blueberry biscuits. When my order was “ready” I was handed a bag with just my sandwich. One of the employees threw a couple extra biscuits in my box to make up for the error. I’ve been here multiple times before and it’s never taken longer than 5-10 minutes, so I’m not sure what the delay was. I’ll be back, hopefully to add another star.

I strongly urge you to refrain from using words like “southern” or “country” if you don’t have the necessary skills to deep fry. The cheddar tots and fried okra were a complete disappointment as they tasted like nasty old oil. The food was half burnt, and the grease was overpowering the taste of tots and okra. The biscuits were mediocre at best, and the gravy was extremely bland. And if that wasn’t enough, my sausage came with eggshells sprinkled on top, which was absolutely disgusting. Needless to say, I will never be dining at this establishment again.
