First time here and boy, what an experience. If all fast food places could take notes, that would be fantastic. The cheerwine donut was amazing. The blueberry biscuit with chicken and cheese, my son said that was the best biscuit he’s ever eaten. The ordering was easy and made things so much smoother. I will say me being a southerner I didn’t care for the gravy as it definitely needed more seasoning.

I love going to the Eastgate Rise biscuits. I always order ahead on the app. It gives me the approximate time my order will be ready and I get a text when it’s ready for pick-up. Everyone is welcoming and I’m always greeted when I arrive. The food is always fresh, hot and delicious. They have the best fried okra and blueberry biscuit! My goto biscuit is the bacon egg cheddar cheese on cheddar cheese biscuit! It’s a busy place. Always someone in and out. They close at 2 so you better hurry!
P.S. I shared my thoughts about Rise Biscuits some time ago. I wanted to check back in to let you know that they are still doing it to my late breakfast liking. It took my husband longer to get back this time. When I asked why he said that there were a lot of orders ahead of him which is impressive considering it’s a very rainy day in Chapel Hill and people tend to stay home on days like this. It’s worth the soak, well, especially when it’s someone else getting soaked! Still loving Rise Biscuits at Eastgate Shopping Center!

I like this low profile, efficient outlet for great biscuits & other treats. Bacon is generous on the sandwiches & cinnamon is plentiful in the rolls…find these in the “donut” tab of the menu. They’re super friendly, the pick up system seems to work well & keeps the order warm. There are a few tables outside, down the sidewalk.

I used to eat here almost every week. I loved their veggie sausage biscuit. However, recently they removed every single vegetarian option from the menu. When I asked about this, they replied that its due to the new Trump presidency and something about it being “Anti-woke”. This is absurd and does not align with the values of the people of Chapel Hill. Do not support this hateful restaurant.

The worker was unhelpful and rude, even going so far as to text my phone and harass me. This happened simply because they used biscuits instead of buns. All they had to do was give us two buns and treat us kindly, rather than yelling and behaving as if a paying customer who tiped is an inconvenience. I recommend going to the Carrboro location instead; the staff there is very kind!

I got the bacon and egg biscuit, which wasn’t as good as what I’ve had at other locations, the taste and texture of this particular biscuit just didn’t come together this time. I also had the fried okra, which was fantastic! And I had the absolute best blueberry biscuit I have ever had in my life. It was absolutely perfect and overflowing with blueberries, I couldn’t have dreamed of having a better one. 10 stars for the blueberry biscuit!
