A classic feel while serving home style food. Breakfast and Lunch menu served all day. Photos include two all beef hot dogs, sunrise special, chicken and waffles, cheeseburger, and interior spaces. Appetizer beignettes in chocolate, cinnamon, and cookie butter were to die for!!! Our whole party agreed that every plate was delicious!! Will definitely eat here again when in the area.

I travel all over North America 300 + days per year. I eat at a LOT of restaurants. My sister lives here locally, and we decided to try this place. From the moment that we walked in, we just felt surrounded by an energy of love. The food was magnificent, and the owners 8 year old son, Noah, made us a fruity pebble pancake. It was amazing.
Brittney was our server, and she was nothing short of amazing. She is quick witted, so be on your toes.

Absolutely delicious experience from start to finish! The food was not only yummy but also so thoughtfully presented — the heart-shaped biscuits and pancakes were such a sweet touch and made the meal feel extra special. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly.
The service truly stood out as well. Brittany was fantastic — attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed without ever feeling rushed. Her positive energy and care really elevated the whole experience.

Restaurant wasn’t busy at all when we arrived around 10am. The specialty coffees (I got an iced americano) were HUGE, easily enough to take some to go. The sunrise special was absolutely delicious! The French toast was especially yummy too. It took about 15 minutes to get our food but it was well worth the wait since everything is made from scratch. Our server Brittney was very nice, attentive and memorized our whole order without having to write it down. 10/10 will be back!!

I had extremely high expectations of the Rise Cafe as the menu looked amazing and all the Google reviews are extremely positive, so my husband and I made a visit on Saturday morning. We got there around 10:30AM and were seated quickly but asked to move to a back booth b/c the sun was BLAZING in through the windows, increasing the temp by about 20 degrees. The lady who came to take our drink order threw down the menus, didn’t greet us or tell us her name, and asked what we wanted to drink in a manner that made it seem like she was SUPER busy; in fact, the whole place seemed extremely chaotic, despite there being at least 3 other servers and a GM walking the floor and about 4 or 5 open tables at any given time (up until we left).
Now on to the food. The coffee was the worst I’ve EVER had, including that from gas stations and hotels – incredibly bitter even after adding 6 creamers and a BUNCH of sugars. At one point the GM came to check on us so we requested more creamers, but she never came back so we wound up asking another server to get them for us (which he thankfully did). I got the cinnamon roll waffle, which was actually pretty tasty (and fluffy), but the sausage patties (that were an extra $2, which wasn’t mentioned or I would NOT have ordered them) were PAPER thin and overcooked. My husband got the southern omelet with grits and Texas toast and the omelet was also ok, but the grits were obviously the cheap kind and had been reheated, due to the texture.
The total was around $36 if you paid with cash but there was an added charge for CC payments, bringing that total to $38ish (which is NOT right – you don’t make your customers cover the CC processing fee at a RESTUARANT). Luckily we had cash so we brought it up to the front and asked the girls if we could just leave it – the blank look they gave us, you would have thought we had just asked if we could pay with gold coins. Everyone there seemed like they were either too good or too busy to help us (except for the aforementioned guy who got us the creamer – I didn’t get his name but I know he had tattoos on his arms). It may sound like I’m being harsh but both my husband and I have worked at every kind of restaurant imaginable – from cafes to fine dining and everything in between – and we have also patronized all sorts of restaurants all over the country – and the service and food we got here was some of the worst we’ve ever received. We rarely tip less than 15% but just didn’t feel it was worth leaving more than 10% – and it could have been easily remedied by just a little more courtesy (or eye contact), and slightly better food! Sadly, we will not be returning.

We had a great birthday breakfast for our daughter. The food was great and the service was amazing. Our server Charles was very friendly, respectful and a lot of fun. He recommended the Epic Chicken and Waffles for the birthday girl and it was a hit. The food isn’t quick, but it’s fresh and yummy.

The biggest thing I didn’t like was they lack a drink/coffee menu. We are big GOOD coffee drinkers and I found it’s strange that they didn’t have a menu that told the different types of lattes they had, and what was in them. We asked our server, and she rattled off a few flavors she said she thinks they had.
I assume, since there was no menu, and no clearcut knowledge of the types of coffees, that they didn’t serve actual lattes and it was most likely coffee machine, coffee with a lot of milk in it. I could be wrong, they may have an espresso machine in the back, but there was no indication of that, and I didn’t want to risk it.
Food was delicious. The serving sizes were very generous, and the price was fair for the size.
Overall we enjoyed our meal very much and we would visit again.

He was attentive without being overbearing, consistently checked in to make sure we had everything we needed, and offered great recommendations and suggestions that we loved.
