Food: really generous portions! Lots of options! Kid menu was ok, we opted to just share with our 3 year old.
Service: fantastic! Greeted immediately, checked on frequently but not too much. Food arrived in a timely manner.
Overall this place is cute and gives cozy vibes. We went around 9am on a Sunday, beating most of the rush. Highly recommend!

This spot is downtown Chula Vista so parking is hard to find. The portion sizes are generous, and the food is decent because it’s not overly greasy but could use more flavor. They do get pretty busy, so the servers don’t have much time to be extra hospitable, but service is still fine overall. The restaurant is relatively spacious and makes for a great place to enjoy a hearty, filling breakfast.

We tried this place for the first time a few days ago. My husband was craving steak and eggs. The steak was absolutely terrible. first off it was a tiny piece of meat, asked for medium rare and it was well done. They offered to make him a new one, they brought out another Embarrassing piece of meat that was completely raw on the inside and still cold.
She said she would take it off the bill and it was only 5.99 so that tells you a lot about the quality.
You can tell the chef does not know how to cook a steak and their steak is extremely cheap and not good quality.
The place does not feel like a breakfast place. It feels more like it should be a Chinese buffet.
On the other hand, my chicken fried steak was pretty good and home fries.

This is by far the best breakfast restaurant in the area! The quality and price will beat any breakfast chain restaurant out there and even the smaller ones don’t come close. There is lots of room here so you can have parties as well. The staff is wonderful and remember many of the customers that come in. The price for what you get is great along with the large amount you get as well!

I remember back when this place was an actual diner, like 20 years ago. It feels rather empty and lacking character, hence the low atmosphere rating. But to be honest, its inexpensive, quick and a decent “greasy” spoon breakfast joint. I had the 2 egg breakfast. Portions were good, food was prepared with care. SERVERS are attentive but busy, just the way I like it. They’re not hovering, but you’re also not sitting around wondering where the coffee you order is.

The servers where very nice, at first I got a Sprite but it did not taste like sprite so then I asked for a Dr.Pepper and it just didn’t taste like it. It seemed like something is wrong with their soda machine because my friends lemonade didn’t taste like

Then the French fries had a good crisp but no salt and it didn’t taste good as if they use a cheap oil. Then my friends chocolate chip pancake taste like they used oil to cook them, like ewww who uses oil, you know butter taste better. I wouldn’t recommend to get these items here maybe other things in there menu are good, but from my experience this wasn’t good so I just wouldn’t come here to eat again.

Horrible management. The omelet was not even an omelet. The more I tried to eat the steak the more RAW it was towards the middle. So much butter on the toast and the manager doesn’t even TRY to do something about this. He takes back my steak and COOKS it. That’s SO unsafe for others!
