Reviews
The staff is so friendly, they make you feel like family. Cute/quirky decor, good music, Bob Ross on the TV. Just the best place to start your day off right.
Bacon was perfectly smoked with a little snap, crunch, and chew.
Eggs and hash browns were excellent as well as the sausage patties I added to the biscuits and gravy.
Definitely a great choice for breakfast up North…
Thank you
My mom tried the crepes, she enjoyed them but they were thicker, like a blintz vs. a crepe.
My daughter had the avocado breakfast sandwich and devoured it before I could even ask how it was.
I got the eggs Benedict, it was cooked perfectly and the thick cut of ham was outstanding. Perfectly cooked potatoes in a conservative quantity made this a nicely rounded meal. I was full and didn’t have to mess with leftovers which was perfect for us.
The menu had some unique options and the decor is whimsical. My only complaint in the whole experience is that the table top was sticky even though it was clean. I have seen this in similar places with different kitchen tables for each table. Putting glass toppers or enamel pouring the table top is the only good way to solve this because the average paint or stained surface isn’t meant to be cleaned as often or with as harsh of chemicals as one has to clean a restaurant tabletop.
The place is so colorful and fun to be in. We love the mish mash of chairs and tables.
The food is outstanding. We had a mimosa from their build your own mimosa bar, avocado toast breakfast sandwich, and the cinnamon bun french toast. All of was perfect.
My only complaint would be the wait time. It was a bit busy when we got there so it’s totally understandable it took a bit to get a table but even after getting seating and ordering it was almost 45 minutes before the food came out, and by that time the place was half empty.
Otherwise Abi’s bistro was great.
Recommended.
All in all a great place downtown to grab breakfast or lunch.
