I love the European Cafe. It’s a special place I like to enjoy a creme brûlée with my daughters & eat some strawberry pancakes with my granddaughters. The service, food & atmosphere add to the great experience.

I came here with a big group, and they were able to accommodate all of us. The atmosphere was really cool to be in, too. I was really impressed by the food and we all really enjoyed our dishes. One of my friends claims that the matcha was “the best I’ve ever had.” Overall it was a really great experience here at Rise and I definitely would love to return in the future.

Not my first visit, but my first visit in a while. I took a chance and instead of getting my usual biscuits and gravy at a breakfast place, I got banana bread French toast. Bacon on the side.
It was filling, it was original, it was pretty on the plate. Flavor was good, and even with just the vanilla cream it wasn’t too dry. The other dishes my friends ordered also turned out well, my girlfriend especially enjoyed hers.
Try it for brunch.

I really enjoyed my breakfast at Rise. I got the biscuits and gravy and added eggs, and my wife got the breakfast bowl. We also got a carafe of coffee to share. The atmosphere is very unique, and I think the back room is the most striking with its pink, tan, and olive green color palette. The ferns here are super long and I love the vibe of these living plants growing above us. Overall we spent about $30 on breakfast, plus tax.

Their desserts are good and they have ok food. But don’t come here if you’re on a budget and if you’re looking to try something new and broaden your horizon because when you buy it. You’re stuck with it. I took 1 bite of their breakfast bowl here and not my thing. And primarly because it was too greasy like someone soaked the whole dish in oil. And every establishment/restaurant I’ve ever been to if you didn’t like something and especially if you only took 1 bite of it or very little of it because you tried to like it. Most places offer something different or money back. So that way either A you aren’t stuck with something you don’t like and you can have something maybe you do? Or B take your money somewhere else. It kinda feels like stealing when someone brings their money to your establishment and you force them to keep something they don’t like without any offer to make things better. All I was told was by a server who said they talked to a manager is that they’re sorry we can’t do anything. Are y’all that desperate to keep people’s money? I’ve work in the restaurant industry before. And I have never ever been told that we couldn’t make something different for a customer or offer a refund. Because we wanted to make the customer happy so that they’ll leave a good review. Unlike me. Because I didn’t have a good experience. I feel like my money was taken and I’m not happy. If I’m spending money at a place I have some expectations especially since the place always looks busy for the food to be good. And for me and my palate. I didn’t like the breakfast bowl. But now I’m stuck with it. No offer to make something different or a refund. What a waste of $14. I could’ve used that to buy some groceries at the store and make something myself to eat. Experiences like this are the reason why I don’t want to go out anymore to any establishment. It seems like nowadays good customer services is disappearing. And good customer service doesn’t just mean putting on a smile and being polite. Good customer service is being both polite and coming up with a solution to make the customer happy. Because like I said. As a customer who has worked in the restaurant industry. I know how real customer service is supposed to work. And this felt like such a joke. You didn’t even make an offer to ask… ” What can we do to make this better? ” That’s the basis on how any negative customer experience should be handled. Not… ” Sorry. There’s nothing we can do. “

Edited to emphasize my last visit:
-Was essentially kicked out due to joining a group of folks who already paid and had food, all while waiting on the line to calm down before ordering for myself. A staffer left their position to find me and tell me they’d prefer I order before sitting down. While I understand the protocol, a stranger wouldn’t have taken the seat I did due to not knowing my group. I chose to join them after considering this interaction was unnecessary and drove my dollars elsewhere. The service here continues to surprise me in ways I’ve never seen before.-
Original 4 star review:
Service leaves a lot to be desired. Fully staffed late in the day. Staff conversations can be heard clearly anywhere in the place, and we felt rushed out minutes before the posted closing time- napkins taken from our grasp.
But the food- the food is why I will continue to return when I’m craving some brunch food even into the afternoon. The bites here have always felt high-quality.
Lots of natural sunlight and beautiful plants all over this place. Cheers to those that care for all of the flora.
Willingly visit for the sunny views and the fare, just be prepared to feel kind of like you’re out of place.

I am so addicted to this place. For a while, I was eating here every weekend. I’ve been going here for about 6 months and have never received a messed up order or a bad experience. For a restaurant, they get it DONE! The longest Ive ever waited was 10 minutes for 4 orders. Everything is always fresh and tables are always clean. Highly recommend!

Wry quickly becoming my favorite place for brunch! I love that they have vegetarian and vegan options, but still plenty of meat options as well.
The menu changes seasonally and I love trying the new options they have!
The avocado toast is a staple love of mine.
Highly recommend and a perfect place for a group of people. Nice patio for when the weather is appropriate.
