I’m sorry to say, I was displeased with my visit, even more so embarrassed to have recommended it to my husband. Then, to have him complain about the cost, especially given the quality of the food.

Riscky’s Bar BQ is a true gem in the heart of the Fort Worth Stockyards. The moment you step in, you’re greeted with the tantalizing aroma of smoked meats. The brisket practically melts in your mouth, and the ribs are fall-off-the-bone perfection. Friendly staff and an authentic Texan atmosphere make it a must-visit

Great food, fast service, and amazing prices. The place was packed around lunch time but we did not have to wait to be seated. Once seated we quickly was greeted by our server and was pleasantly surprised by how quick everything happened. This was a one of a kind atmosphere and experience. I recommend if you in the are to give them a try. You won’t be disappointed.

Disappointed on the beef ribs, out of the first 7 dry No Meat bones I was served , I showed the server they had no meat.. he brought me a second round, apologize and just disappointed again. My inlaw gave me one of his that actually had meat on it .. I guess because he didn’t order the all u can eat…the picture on the menu shows meat all over the top of the bone…paid and left, took pictures of bones with bbq.. next time just order a hamburger…pic shows the strip of meat i felt like my dog does when knawing on one….not at all like camp Bowie location..

We were in from out of state and gave this place a try for lunch. The breaded and fried brisket bites and fried corn for appetizers were excellent ! The server was helpful and fast. My son enjoyed his entree of a chopped brisket sandwhich. I had the same thing and I’d rate it pretty good but not great , the flavor was nice but the texture was extremely mushy for chopped brisket. Overall it was a pretty good experience.

Food was pretty good. The brisket tacos were decent. It really didn’t have a lot of flavor. The onion fries are average. Next time I’m getting the fries. Also the bread pudding pretty good. Edwin E was a awesome waiter. I’m definitely requesting him when I come back. I would recommend this place!

A touristy Texas themed steakhouse that’s absolutely perfect for its location. Face it, if you’re here in the stockyards or considering coming, you don’t just want the Texas experience: you want the cartoon version of it.

Came here when visiting family. I wish the food came out all at the same time because some of us were eating on our own, or decided to wait and eat while the plate in front of us got cold waiting for the rest of the food came out. The fried pickles and jalapeno poppers were really good though. I wish I hadn’t gotten the brisket nachos, but it’s alright. I live in a different state so I can’t try anything else for quite some time (or ever). The Stockyards area itself was very fun and interesting.
