I recently visited this brewery and had a generally good experience. The atmosphere was decen not cozy, but still a fine place to sit and enjoy a drink. The beer was the standout feature. Really flavorful and absolutely worth the long drive. The food and service were mediocre, but the quality of the beer made up for it. In the end, we still enjoyed our drinks and left happy. I’d come back again for the beer alone.

Honestly if you live in the area or in the Hudson valley and you haven’t been here, why? They have amazing pizza and wings. There sit is wonderful and enough space to navigate when going to table and leaving. I have had a few of there pizzas out side of the normal cheese, pepperoni, sausage you know the normal type pizza and I’m may not like a couple of them but they where really good.
Have yet to be mad about any experience I have had going there. The staff is great and initiative. The portions are perfect and you will most of the time have to take some home. The building is clean and cozy. I don’t drink so I don’t know about the beers they make but I know people that have had there in house brewed beer and they liked them a lot.
Walk ins is mostly what they do unless you a party of 6 or more. Come try it. SO GOOD, GREAT VIBES

Good service, waiter was nice and friendly but didn’t even show us the specials( which the other waitress was showing all her guest) while the food is still good, I had the Arugula salad and added grilled shrimp $8 extra – for 4 tiny shrimp. While salad was large the $ for the shrimp is ridiculous in price!

Honest foodie
We went with a large group for dinner and had a great time. All of the food was excellent and at a fair price. Our waitress kept the drinks flowing as we enjoyed our meals. Don’t forget to leave room for dessert. This is an off the beaten path restaurant you must try. 1/10/24 i’m not sure what happened from the first time to the second time but the food the second time was a completely different food as it was not that good and I’m not really sure why went with the family this time. Youngest one had pizza did not like the taste of it. my oldest son did get the special today which was the tuna and it looks really good. Take a look at the picture and he enjoyed it. I think it might be just the pizza type products that they just aren’t as good as what I thought they would be. Maybe I have to try it for a third time.

Stopped by the Rip Van Winkle brewing Co. for dinner and it did not disappoint. It was a really cute restaurant with a brewing area you could kind of see. Our waitress was nice and the food was great. We ordered the 12 inch traditional pizza, garlic knots (it came with 10!!), and a side of penne alla vodka. Everything was great! The side of pasta was huge and definitely more than enough for me. So that’s a nice trick to save a little money. The order of knots was so fresh and huge we could only eat half. And the pizza was so good and crispy. My bf got a flight of beers to sample and he really enjoyed them
all. I also got the berry bourbon lemonade and it was so good. It was super busy, but I definitely recommend this if you are in the area!

After a long, stressful day of getting towed to the Catskills in New York, Rip Van Winkle Brewing Company turned out to be the one bright spot that saved it all.
The Detroit-style pizza was absolutely perfect—crispy crust, gooey cheese, and fresh, delicious toppings that hit the spot.
The blueberry barbecue wings were a flavor bomb—sweet, tangy, and cooked to perfection.
The service was top-notch, with a friendly and welcoming staff that made me feel right at home.
I have to give a big thanks to the guy from the nearby tow truck company who recommended this place.
It completely turned my day around! Highly recommend this gem to anyone in the area.

Stopped here after hiking in the area and I was not disappointed! The Belgian whit beer was very good, and the pizza (pepperoni with onion and hot honey) was super delicious. My friend had lasagna and also loved that. Wish I lived closer or I’d be a regular customer, it was really good!!!

This place was delicious. Finished a hike and stumbled upon this place. OH Schnitzel this meal was on point ! The pasta portion was huge. The beer was delicious. The service was quick and kind. Will be returning. 10/10

Hands down Catskills secret gem. Our server Alisa was hands down the cherry on top of our experience. Alisa’s energy was very contagious she was extremely knowledgeable about the beer choices, food selection was on point and attentive to our table. If I had a restaurant she would be the ideal candidate to serve my clients. Alisa I hope you were able to find your cat.
Food: stared off with the pretzel OMG it was soft perfect amount of salt my favorite pretzel I have ever had. 1-10 it gets a 9.9
My sister and brother-in-law had the Boneless Wings they were perfect they were crispy even thought they were in the sesame sauce. 1-10 gets 9.7
Review from the table and food they had:
Calzone was good, had to sprinkle some salt to add some flavor 1-10 got a 7. Have on the ricotta vs meat
Cheese Pizza was good 1-10 got a 8.5
Salmon with rice and veggie: over all a very good dish 1-10 got a 9.
Salmon was not as fishy rice was a little too moist but the veggies were perfect. The veggies is spiraled cooked perfectly and seasoned perfectly 1-10 got a 8.5
I had the Pork Schnitzer Special of the day. It was basically a large deep fried on its own not so much flavor but the sauce with the capers brought it together nicely was paired with mashed potato excellent and the amazing spiral veggies. 1-10 I gave it a 9.2
Dessert……..
Tiramisu OMG 1-10 it’s getting a 10
Rainbow cookie Cake outstanding 1-10 it gets a 9.4

The flight sample were interesting, had my favorites top two, after sharing with our server she mentioned they have won awards with those beers I am now consider becoming a beer tester lol from 1-10 got a 9.5
The Special Old Fashion hands down 1-10 got a 10 out of 10 (perfect)
White Sangria 1-10 got 9
Red Sangria 1-10 got 9.5
Definitely a place to come and I will return. See y’all soon
