Riot House is definitely one of the highlights of my stay at Andaz West Hollywood. The chicken wings are absolutely incredible and honestly some of the best I have had in the United States. They are flavorful, perfectly cooked, and really stand out on the menu. I highly recommend trying them and not skipping over this dish.

The salad was decent and fresh but did not quite reach the same level as the wings. One of the other things I really enjoyed was the non-alcoholic Mai Tai. It was so good that we ended up ordering three rounds each. The flavors were well balanced and refreshing which made it a perfect complement to the meal.

The service throughout our dinner was warm and attentive. The staff made sure we had everything we needed without being intrusive and their friendly attitude added to the positive atmosphere.

Speaking of atmosphere, Riot House has a really fun and lively vibe. It is a great place to come for a casual dinner where you can enjoy delicious food, good drinks, and a vibrant energy. Whether you are staying at the hotel or just visiting the area it is definitely worth a visit.

Overall this restaurant left a great impression and I would happily return on my next trip.

So i was ambling about the Sunset Strip area and i found this little place….pro tip: entrance is *through* the hotel lobby, i found out the hard way … the Valet outside explained the “why” (i think his name was Vince) and from there i figured it out. Marvin at the bar was wonderful, personable, and happy to be there working 16years!!! Wow — this speaks very well of a place if you keep your staff happy to this degree of longevity— i love hearing this as a patron because it makes it easy to come back. My avocado toast was very good… i slowly savoured every bite and the poppyseed bread/lemon zest was a very interesting variation of Avocado Toast.
Oh, and they had ice cold Diet Coke which made me supremely happy. Thank you for a great little breakfast

I had breakfast here while staying at the hotel and I thought it was pretty good. I especially enjoyed the potatoes and the ham.

I also liked that on one day, the orange juice wasn’t fresh squeezed like they usually are, and the server told me this so I could switch to a different juice.

I did find the portion sizes weirdly inconsistent day by day though, my iced latte and orange juice came in a different sized cup each day, and my bowl of fruit was nearly triple the size the first time compared to the second time I ordered it.

Service is pretty slow as the restaurant gets quite busy. I noticed many diners around me on multiple days had breakfast packages from the hotel, so it’s nice to see food quality wasn’t cut.

Are breakfast and lunch during my stay. Breakfast was very good and the lunch was great. The crispy media luna chicken tacos and the tortilla soup were perfect. My server Jose could not have been any better. Highly recommend.

In my view this is primarily a restaurant attached to the Andaz hotel. Translation: very expensive for casual dining. That said, the breakfast was quite extensive with everything from fruit to meats and omelets to order. It is a nice space and the coffee was decent. Would I visit the space if I was not traveling – probably not.

The food is appetizing and tasty though nothing about the offerings are particularly outstanding in terms of flavor and presentation compared to other offerings in area.

Convenient for a quick bite if you are staying at the Andaz though I would venture to other restaurants if you are just passing through or visiting the area.

Overall, I was whelmed with my experience here and would visit again only if I were, again, a guest at the Andaz to take advantage of room charging for points bonuses.

Edit: Breakfast is really tasty! Definitely enjoyed their breakfast offerings moreso than the lunch/dinner menu!

It’s my first full day in LA. I thought it was a lame move to eat at the hotel instead of going out but I took the lazy road!

Honestly, I had a great experience. Definitely stop in for coffee + breakfast if you are staying at the Andaz. We shared the corned beef benny and an almond croissant. Check the pics – it was the biggest croissant I’ve ever seen!!!

The service was a home run Andrew was our waiter and he was so friendly and attentive. Little things make a big difference for me… He split the benny into two dishes because we mentioned that we were sharing. He asked if I wanted ketchup or hot sauce (always a yes from me ) before the food came out. And he put in this care while the place was pretty full! I also saw the manager/host going around to tables and checking in with guests. Great staff all around.

Ate here because I stayed here but if I wasn’t I don’t think I’d go out of my way. The service was really nice. The guy was super friendly. It was pretty slow but it was also just him. The prices are higher but pretty comparable to other hotels. I got a vegetarian breakfast burrito and honestly it was a good burrito but I feel like $20 for just the burrito but no sides is a bit much for me. But that’s just me. In reality it’s a pretty average price. Anyways food was good, service was great, atmosphere is nice but overall nothing to write home about.
