Pizza is delicious. Love the taste of the sauce. Friendly atmosphere. They play great music, tvs to watch the games. And they have arcade games. Crazy busy all the time. The manager/owner Sam is amazing with his staff. Not too expensive for the amount of food you’re getting. Love, love, love the chicken wings!!!!

Food was great! We ordered the Family feast came with Salad, Spaghetti, garlic toast, Large 1 topping pizza and 2 liter soda for about $47 I added some Buffalo wings too. Everything had flavor will definitely be coming back. The wings are spicy but its that spicy good you don’t want to stop eating. Pizza was great too well made and very cheesy. You won’t be disappointed.

The food was delicious . When it comes to good pizza, you will always pay a high price. This sportsbar atmosphere here is very intense, with 80s freestyle music blasting in the background. When I came here, there were a few people celebrating birthdays and kids running around everywhere, screaming. Just be ready for a very loud place to watch your favorite teams play. Definitely check this place out. The pizza was very good, cheese says it all. Plus, the wings were cooked to perfection and super crispy. There is not a lot of seating, and it gets pretty crowded very fast.

This was a surprise when you walked in. 2 large TV’s with sports playing, music in the background. Family style bench seating, also high top tables for 2 and even bar seating. They have Videos and other games for the kids. Bottle and can drinks and draft beers. This is the best gourmet style pizza at a great price that I’ve ever had. The pizza dough is fresh and inventive, like bighting into a French bread loaf. The sauce was perfect. Not bitter, but full of flavor and just the right amount. We ordered a Pepperoni and a Hawaiian. This was so fresh and had quality products and plenty of delicious toppings on the most creamy cheesy tasty pizza we’ve ever had. I’m going to make this a weekly stop, or definitely for takeout. Check out this South El Monte Gem. Ask for Sam. He knows how to make you feel at home. Pam is the owner, and she is killing it. Great job. When ordering on the phone, you must pay in advance to guarantee your pickup. Or go in and dine in the great atmosphere. Either way, it’s a win. They can do orders for your party. Cater or your sporting event.

During the weekend, we visited this pizza shop and were delighted with both the food and service. I returned tonight, 02/20, I called at 8:30 p.m. and was told they did not accept phone orders for pick-up, despite their stated closing time of 10. I was not even given the opportunity to speak to the woman who answered the phone. All she said when she answered was, “Thank you for calling.” we are no longer accepting orders and hung up. To have that kind of greeting right away left a bitter flavor; I’m not sure if they simply had a bad day. We drove by because she said not taking PHONE orders so figured we could just pick it up in person we got there at 8:45 and were turned away. Like I said maybe they had a bad day but after that we might just look for a different spot.

Rio’s South El Monte pizza is absolutely delicious. They don’t skimp on toppings! Their salads and wings are also really good. The restaurant is clean, fast/friendly service… I will definitely be coming back!
