Couldn’t give it a 0 star and that’s
What they deserve. Ordered through favor special 2 it’s supposed to be
1 dozen tamales and all meat barbocoa. I also txt driver for onions and Cilantro There is no tamales and no onions and cilantro. Also ordered extra flour tortillas as it comes with corn and didn’t Get those either. This barbocoa is definitely not all meat either. You can literally pour grease out of it. Paid 25.00 for My order and it’s was not worth it now they are closed So can’t call them either. My daughter doesn’t know better and ate it anyways I felt so

First time trying their Barbacoa, it is good but lacks taste, I’m used to a more flavorful barbacoa, still, like I said it’s not bad. I will be back to try the rest of their menu, they have menudo, tamales, chicharones, tortillas.
The reason I gave only 3 stars is mostly because of the price, in my opinion is very overpriced, including tax you’ll be spending 18 dlls a lb, we are a family of 4 so I had to get 2 lb, it was close to $40!!! that’s too much, I’ve had better and not this expensive barbacoa at HEB
The place only opens Saturday and Sunday mornings, just FYI.

Very friendly atmosphere, everyone is so welcoming. The food is absolutely delicious and fresh. We just moved to the FM 78 area and were looking for a great barbacoa place, looked on Google and here we are! This is now my husband and I ‘s go to place. Thanks!

I absolutely love this place the ALL MEAT BARBACOA is the best remember to order it because they have 2 kinds the Rios Family will ask you which one you want but the menu is on the wall so if you order the all meat that is what you will get I have been there and some customers order the one with the fat because some enjoy the flavor. Some customers have also ordered both half and half to mix it up. I have not been disappointed ever the times I have visited. The Family is very nice and friendly I admire that they have family time together and they make it possible for me to enjoy some very tasty Barbacoa and big red it’s always nice to get to eat something that I don’t have to make myself and would not know how This Family reminds me when I was a kid when more cooking was done at home and the quality of family time was well spent and kept the family close and enjoyed each other and didn’t have a cell phone taking up Quantitee time from each other.

What’s the health rating at this place because I don’t think they would pass. Tamales were old, stale and reheated. Tortillas were stuck together, barbacoa barely had flavor and was too greasy. Not in the greatest part of town. No seating, take out only. The staff was friendly but insisted we buy combos only to get old tamales.

The barbcoa was nasty and cold ordered thru door dash the food was opened I will never order again from this place the amount of money I spent for trash cause that’s what it was salsa was water down they did not send my pico just horrible

Over priced for the amounts served too much grease in the Barbacoa they charge 1.50 for Salsa/Chile a little container and only one kind of salsa/chile. Menudo wasn’t cooked all the way through tripe was tough No hominy, if wasn’t for you have to place star In order to leave a review I wouldn’t do that either. A slice of Lemon & onion instead of traditional Lime, Cilantro and onion.
