The Rio’s is the Palm Desert Resort Country Club public (and member) restaurant. It’s cozy, rarely crowded, and enjoys a simple menu of American cuisine. There is a full bar and the drinks are reasonably priced. Its atmosphere is a combination of country club vibes and open space with TV’s and a back patio with an amazing view of the pond and mountains. It is open to the public although you will have to go through the front gate and stay left as a guest. It’s a good spot to eat right after a round of golf. Note the restaurant is seasonal so check ahead for hours of operation.
