We started with the Italian Country Table and it set the tone immediately. Quality meats, great cheeses, fresh arugula, grilled eggplant, and that house “Riondo Mozz” — everything tasted intentional and well sourced. Not just a charcuterie board thrown together, but a balanced starter done right.
The Margherita pizza was textbook. Crisp crust with just the right chew, bright San Marzano sauce, fresh basil, and perfectly melted mozzarella. Simple food executed at a high level.
The Seafood Ravioli Pillows were outstanding. The filling was generous, the pasta tender, and the garlic bianco sauce tied it all together without overpowering the seafood. Rich, but not heavy.
Dessert sealed the deal. The chocolate cake was decadent and moist, and the Bananas Foster came out flaming tableside — not a gimmick, but a true finishing touch that elevated the experience.
Atmosphere is warm and romantic without feeling stuffy. Service was attentive and professional. You can tell this place is run with pride.
If you’re in Galveston and want elevated Italian with a strong wine list and a refined vibe, Riondo’s should be at the top of your list.
Instead of angel hair pasta they brought me penne pasta, we were in a rush so just ate that, it was very good.
A little noisy but able to have a conversation with loud voices.
Inside and outside seating. Nice decor.
We saw several empty tables while we were waiting ..I don’t think they even try to give us a different one..
