I’ve driven past this little corner shop at least 50 times, always saying I’d check it out someday. Today I finally stopped, and let me tell you this place is THE REAL DEAL! That’s the nickname I’m giving this Mexican restaurant.
The food is absolutely packed with flavor the kind that sticks with you until your next visit. The service is superb, warm, and welcoming truly a family spot that makes you feel at home. Honestly, I’d come back here even if the service wasn’t great simply because the flavor alone is unforgettable. But since both the food and the service are top notch, they’ve definitely won me over.

I had the huevos and chicharron for breakfast. They were spicy and full of flavor. The combination in the fresh handmade corn tortillas was delicious. I requested fresh onions, and it was perfect. The service is friendly, and the atmosphere is cozy and laid back. This spot is definitely going to be added to the breakfast rotation!

The food is ok, I’ve never been served old food, it’s always fresh and quality ingredients but the preparation is lacking. The price was too high IMO. Paid $50, ($60 with tip) for two people. 2 Tacos, 2 lemonades, 2 specials of the day and 1 coffee. The coffee was mostly water. The flour tortillas were meh, they got stiff as soon as they got cold and I didn’t like the texture of them, flour tortillas should be stretchy and chewy. The corn tortillas were handmade they weren’t bad. The lemonade was tart and not watered down. The pork ribs in the green sauce were good, I like my green sauce tangy with more tomatillo, this one wasn’t as tangy as I like it. The eggs in my huevo con chorizo were overcooked and were a bit on the dry side.
All the food tastes home made but it’s just not at a level that merits this price tag. At this price I would expect better preparation but that’s just my opinion and if you haven’t noticed I’m VERY picky with my food but I do suggest you try it, they have a few good surprises, just watch out for the pricetag.

Really enjoyed our meal. I had the chicken mole. Superb. Great salsa. Wonderful chips and tortillas. Fantastic service.
Their ice tea was so well brewed, I didn’t need any sweetener.
Lovely little place where the waitresses would sing from time to time. The place filled up as we were finishing our meal.
We loved it and it’s so close to our new home, we will be back quite often, certainly.

The food was ok but not great. The prices were higher than the menu on Google. 2 ppl 1 Friday Special, tea & Flautas & diet coke $39 NOT WORTH IT. Food lacked flavor & the shredded beef in the Flautas was tough & dry.

A coworker of mine recommended this place to me, and I’m glad he did!! They have quite an extensive menu, full of authentic Mexican dishes, and the prices are not bad. I got the pastor tacos and they were fabulous! The housemade corn tortillas were fresh and wonderful. The ladies who work here are nice, too. I will definitely be coming back!

I was impressed with Rio Verdence. The food here was authentic and great tasting. It is a good choice for breakfast or lunch. I was particularly fond of the huevos divorciados and the tortillas. Both the flour and corn tortillas are handmade, but I’d give the flour here the slight edge. The staff was really attentive; even the ownership came to check on our table. They made us feel very comfortable and welcome. I’ll be coming back. It’s really worth it for affordably priced authentic Mexican food.

Tripa tacos were salty! Waitress said they came with onion and cilantro.(didn’t have none on tacos) Chicharon tacos were bland! Enmoladas didn’t have any mole flavor, tasted more like mint! Waitress rang up my bill 3 times, each time a different total. When she finally gave me the highest total she got confused when I handed her the 3 cents so she wouldn’t break a dollar, couldn’t figure out my change was $14. Also she never refilled the teas at the table, when I asked for a refill she brought hot tea with no ice!
