Rio is my new favorite authentic Mexican restaurant! I have tried the El Rey Dinner and the Pollo Deluxe. Both are delicious and very filling. The food was very well seasoned and cooked to perfection. The waitress was also very friendly and helpful both times I went. Overall a great experience and authentic taste of Mexican cuisine. Easily a 5 star experience for me!

Miami vise drink is amazing! Their food is always a 10 out of 10!!! And the service is outstanding. Our family always knows where to go when we are hungry and they never disappoint. Better than Aztecas!! Honestly better than most restaurants we pick. We always sit outside and love their patio.

Always good food here. The service was off this time but I won’t be too harsh because we had a party of 12 with two infants in addition. Everyone enjoyed their meals. I had one regular beef taco and one al pastor street taco, both fresh and delicious. Fajitas looked amazing, always like to see and hear them sizzling. It’s a nicely decorated place with friendly staff, consistently a good experience for us. Parking is fine, it can get a little crowded during peak times. I would definitely recommend Rio and they are always willing and able to accommodate larger parties.

Just read the New menus very thoroughly. . Because I use to always get the fajitas mixed (shrimp,steak and chicken) for 15.99..but now you can do shrimp and chicken or chicken and steak, for 15.99,but all 3 is 22.99.. anyways other than that the atmosphere and food was good! And service was fine, just wish they would of came back to refill and also explain the add on charge instead of saying it was too much of hastle to walk to tell us that :/.

UPDATE – My second visit – I had the 2-taco lunch with rice. The rice was just OK, not much flavor. The tacos were standard beef, lettuce and tomatoes. Not much meat or flavor. I should have gone with the chicken quesadilla. Cost was $10 before the tip.

I decided to try a different Mexican restaurant. The one on Schellinger was a huge disappointment.
The service here was a 10 all day. I got seated and the waitress came right over to take my order. Then the salsa showed up. A little on the thin side, but tasty. Just enough bite.
I ordered the chicken quesadilla meal with white cheese. It arrived very quickly and was very delicious!
There is outdoor seating – second picture.
Bill was $8.39 before the tip. I will be returning in the future.
The one problem is access to the parking lot. You cannot get in from Hilcrest Road. I tried and had to get on Airport Boulevard.
You can exit onto Hillcrest. and travel South.

A good mexican restaurant. I ordered 3 tacos. They had tomatoes, which I forgot to ask for none, but those were easy to take off. The tacos were extremely delicious. My family went here and they all said it was good, except for my grandpa, which said “It’s ok.” The chips and dip were good too. I got the cheese dip, and it tasted good. I would recommend this place to anyone who is looking for mexican food.

Horrible! they charged me $19.51 for a KIDS MEAL and drink that had a BUG in it!! They wouldn’t let my friend leave after she ordered NOTHING and was going to get shoes for my friend who stepped in sewage-the workers no little to no English and were very rude to my table! I’m not one to complain but it was ABSOLUTELY ridiculous!! We were just there for a birthday! I also had a HAIR in my taco! NEVER AGAIN!!
