No, this is not the John Wayne movie. It’s a real life Latin establishment. Super dark inside, but the Tejano music is great.
The bar staff is happy to have you. But you do encounter a steel mesh heavy duty locked door upon entering. They are protective of the inside of the joint.
It’s extra dark, to the point they have to use a flashlight to spot the drinks you want.
I enjoyed the visit, despite being a little (just a little) apprehensive of the joint.
