Ringer Hut is a casual Japanese chain that I feel is quite underrated. While the prices are higher here than they are in Japan, the food—especially the Champon dishes—is consistently tasty, filling, and delicious.
The atmosphere when I visited was a bit depressing. It is a large, long restaurant, and because there was no music playing, the silence felt a bit off. All the groups and solo diners were spread out throughout the space, making it feel a little empty and lacking in energy.
The service was perfectly fine; it was efficient, though nothing specifically stood out as exceptionally good or bad.
The food is the main reason to come here. The Nagasaki-style noodles are unique compared to your standard ramen spots. If you want a meal that is hearty and full of vegetables and seafood, this is a solid choice in the mall.
If you are looking for a quiet place to sit down and enjoy a filling meal away from the loud, noisy food courts in ala moana, this is a great option.

This is an excellent place in the middle of all moana plaza for authentic japanese food. Whether you like street style or home style noodles, you’ll get it. The staff are very courteous, helpful. The taste of the food awesome and very good value for money. Definitely recommend this place.

I’m honestly surprised with the average score, I think they deserve a higher one. Been here multiple times before. Food is consistently delicious. Maybe not mind blowing but it’s pretty decent. Food is well seasoned, not too salty and not too sweet for my liking.
Staff is friendly and the place is clean. Don’t expect American restaurant style of friendliness, they won’t ask if everything is OK on your first bite.

I got the crispy noodle and it was good except the sauce was a little too sweet for me. Staff were friendly and very attentive. It’s a nice place for lunch or dinner after a shopping trip.

Not a big restaurant, so if you have a larger party it’s a bit of a wait. And not all the food comes out at the same time. The steamed rice was the prefect consistency. Nagasaki champon was delicious but it was kind of bland so I wish I had ordered the spicy version. Broth was not salty and the ingredients tasted fresh. Niku udon was better than Marugame’s. Tempura donburi was crispy. Portions were generous, prices were average.

After passing by so many times, we’ve finally came in for lunch. We tried the two Nagasaki specials, one with soup and the other one without. Basically they tasted the same, except for the soup (or the lack of) and the type of noodles with one being regular Raman and the other one has fried thin noodles. They were done, but definitely nothing worth any length of waiting for a table (we didn’t have to wait for lunch on a Saturday before the Marathon). The prices were within reason considering it has clean eating area and located within the Ala Moana Mall.

Always passed by but now i got to try it. Food was solid overall the tonkatsu wasn’t greasy and was still juicy. the dipping sauce really brings the pork flavor out. good without it too. The gyoza though i was just a little bit disappointed. Thought it would be cheese sauce not cheese slices. Still good though.

When I was dining, my server’s name was apparently Saya, and I have never had such a terrible experience in my life. Never before have I felt so unwelcome to dine at a location or felt small by simply ordering food. I heard her shout at another customer, “The bathroom is for dining customers ONLY!”, apparently forgetting that she was eating there. Even the way she placed our food down was uncomfortable, not looking at us and just throwing on the table and walking away. Even though the food was so so, I will never return to this location so long as she still is employed there.

When we came here in the past, it was located inside the Food Court at Ala Moana Center, but it has since relocated here and became a single . The restaurant was spacious, but crowded during dinner time. We ordered Nagasaki champon and a mini teriyaki chicken bowl. Both dishes were authentic Japanese flavors and delicious.

The prices are reasonable and you can enjoy authentic Japanese flavors, so we came here again today. We had the Kake Udon (simple udon) and Tempura Donburi. The udon had a light, delicate broth with a good flavor, and the tempura had a light batter, making it fairly crispy and delicious.
