I have to agree with others on this one being overpriced. The quality of the food was just not worth the price we paid.
We had a very busy morning and I was super hungry so we decided to stop and grab a late lunch.
The woman serving us was very nice and she did greet us nicely when we came in.
My husband ordered an agua and I ordered a cup of water because I’m staying away from sweets at the moment.
She brought out a basket of chips & some salsa. The salsa was okay, nothing special about it.
We ordered our food. I ordered 2 pupusas revueltas. They were fine, I thought $4 each was pretty steep. I only ordered 2 because I felt that was too much. The curtido was a different type than I’ve had before, it didn’t seem to have carrots, onion or pepper just cabbage and whatever spice. I wondered why it was yellow if they had used some type of ingredient that dyed it or if it was artificial coloring. It didn’t have much flavor. I ate it all because I was hungry and need to have fiber with my meals. Our kids we got a pupusa for them to share knowing our baby wouldn’t be eating much of anything. The pupusas all tasted fine.
My husband ordered a caldo de camarón. He did not like his caldo, he left almost the whole bowl of food behind because it was not good, it didn’t look like red broth on the menu. It was cloudy or creamy I’m not sure what ingredients they use but it didn’t have the same consistency of what we make at home. The shrimp did not smell great. It almost smelt faintly off to me when I picked out a carrot from the caldo to give to our child. I didn’t end up feeding it to them because the smell was off putting to me.
We paid $53 for 2 pupusas revueltas, 1 pupusa de queso, 1 jarrito, a caldo de camarón & one agua.
That felt extremely overpriced to us. I understand in this economy but I was definitely disappointed and shocked after spending that much for my husband to not finish his meal. Our meals should have came to around $42 so I don’t know what’s the additional expenses went to I don’t think tax would have made it that much it should have been under $45. Would have been nice to see a receipt after though.

Super delicious food and beyond friendly. Its a hiden gem cause you have mama cooking her recipes home cooking and 100% authentic. I love Mexican dishes and highly recommend this little restaurant. The guacamole is made fresh to order and amazing. Support this small restaurant cause its one of the best in my opinion.

My brother and I travel a lot. We were on a road trip across the Midwest and stopped by for lunch. We hadn’t had pupusas since we were in Guatemala a few months before. It was a treat to have Salvadorian pupusas! Trust me, there is a difference between Guatemalan and Salvadorian pupusas. We split six different types. They were delicious! The staff is friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend stopping by if you are in Indy!

At first did not want to eat inside,but felt comfortable after seeing inside. Food was made fresh and good taste. The beans wasn’t great as it was dry and tough to eat. They automatically added 10% tip without asking that surprised me. Did not give a breakdown till I asked.

The quality and taste of the pupusas are very good, but I’ve been there more than four times and the place is physically closed, even though Google Maps says it’s open. I called an hour before I left to make sure it was open, and they told me it was, but when I arrived, it was already closed. Why do they say they close at 10 PM and then waste their customers’ time by making them travel all the way there only to find it closed?

Everything was great, much better than expected.
2nd visit we had quesadilla and birria tacos. With beans & rice. Excellent meal. Their salsa is one of the best we’ve had.
