This was a decent restaurant. The food was good. They didn’t have ingredients to prapre some of the items on the menu that we asked for, and it took a really long time for them to prepare the food, but I know the food was prepared fresh. What I ate was very good. Remember that this is a Salvadoren restaurant, not a “Mexican” restaurant. Even though some of the food is similar, the food here is better than what you find in a simple Mexican place.

My first trip will not be my last. Food cooked to order, so takes a minute. The senorita behind the counter spoke very good English and was helpful with ordering. Tasty food without being over spicy. Restaurant is clean and bright. Parking in rear.

The food portion was good and tasty. But they could barely talk in English.
Two flies were flying in the dining area.

Best pupusas in cincy! Fresh, big and filling. I just wish they were closer to where I lived.

Took some to go and see how Cincy does pupusas.

The pupusas de arroz are some of the best I’ve tried in the U.S. I got them revueltas. Most pupusas de arroz in the U.S. are so dry, but these were softer. Reminiscent of the ones I’d have in the 90s in San Francisco. Nothing compares to El Salvador but these made me nostalgic. I was content.

The pupusa de revuelta de maiz was good, but I just ordered it to see how the masa was. Maiz is not my preference. Arroz will always be superior (assuming you can try good ones).

These pupusas are adequately filled. In Houston, the pupusas have turned into these massive discs of just masa and no filling. I stopped eating pupusas in Texas because of that. These are a good size, not too large, and with good filling. I was happy.

The downsides: One of my pupusas was the wrong kind so I couldn’t try queso con loroco. They gave me a bean and cheese, which was fine but basic. I liken bean and cheese to children since that’s what a lot of Salvadoran kids eat. I’ll go back to get my queso con loroco. Lastly, there wasn’t a lot of curtido for my 3 pupusas. I definitely needed more Next time I’ll ask for extra.

Extra: There’s a parking lot, but only 3 tables so probably best take it to go.

I went for the first time with some friends to catch up over food, and this place was incredible. One friend and I got three pupusas to split – chicken, loroco, and cheese. The loroco wasn’t our favorite, the chicken was good, but the queso was perfect. The other friend said that the queso and chorizo pupusas were great as well. The contido was crunchy, cold, and little bit spicy. The perfect addition to the pupusas. Go for the fried plantains too, they were delicious. I will be back next time I’m in the area for sure.

Wanted to sit and eat with my friend and catch up since I was only in town for a bit, my friend asked the guy to please lower the music since it was too loud and her and I were the only customers in there at the time and wanted to catch up. He lowered the tv but turned up some radio at the back and blasted it. We took the food to go and ate at a park near by. He wasn’t very nice. I won’t be going back when I am in town.

The food was just ok.
