I came in Friday for take out and was blown away by the food and service. So much so that I brought my mom in on the following Monday for lunch. I can’t believe I’ve lived here for so many years and have never been here! Sundays they do a Barbacoa special and I am already planning on going there Sunday to try out their Barbacoa! Natalie was our server and she was super friendly. Julio, the owner also came out on the floor to help. They do a terrific job! Go support this local place. Their menu is huge, so much to choose from! You won’t be disappointed!

My girlfriend and I went here to give the food a try. We came after the lunch crowd time and enjoyed a leisure lunch at this not fancy but appetizing Mexican restaurant! What struck me is this restaurant is a bakery as well. After speaking to the owner we learned that his partner is a baker and their desserts aren’t as sweet as the average bakery. Good to know, because I’m not a fan of most baked goods due to the extreme sweetness. Although we didn’t try the delicious desserts and breads they did look pretty inviting. As for our lunch it was perfect! Our meals were fresh, inviting and tasty! Also, the owners are very nice and family people. I definitely recommend you give them a try!

Rincon Tolteca did an incredible catering for our birthday party, the sirloin meat was amazing, one of the best we’ve had in Sarasota. All of our guests loved the enchiladas, rice, beans, fresh tortillas and chips. The guacamole was a huge hit!!! So delicious. everything was nicely packed and secured. Thank you so much. Food was a success at our party. Definitely recommend this restaurant for catering Mexican food!

What a wonderful find! Server was very attentive to our party. Wanted to hug him; he was so humble and eager to please. Without saying anything, he made homemade lemonade for 2 people in our group because he said he didn’t want to disappoint us by saying they didn’t offer it. And it tasted so fresh and refreshing!! Food was authentic and very delicious!! From quesadillas to tacos to enchiladas, from beef to shrimp, everyone thoroughly enjoyed their dinner. Now a staple for our Mexican cuisine!

Rincon Tolteca is our favorite Mexican spot in the area! The staff are always friendly and attentive, and the food never disappoints. We especially love their homemade salsas and guacamole, so fresh and flavorful. The Rincon Salad, burritos, tacos, and chimichangas are all fantastic. It’s truly a must‑visit gem in Sarasota with some of the kindest people around!

Authentic Mexican food! Their chips were cracker like, hard to describe, but delicious. Salsa was A+. The only negative was the service was slow most of the night. We sat for 4-5 minutes before our waitress arrived. That’s a long time when you’re just waiting to be acknowledged, maybe get your drink order in. Our waitress was super friendly and helpful – it was just a staffing issue. So still 5 stars because the food was hot, delicious and family affordable! Will come back.

Is it deliberately sabotaging my meal, bc I’m a white?
How can that go overlooked?
I saved this half of the burrito for next day and biting into it I noticed the bone. I just got a new permanent Crown and I’m still missing a tooth on the other side. So Are they trying to destroy my teeth?
