Honestly after a day of running gravel fire roads around the Upper Peninsula finding decent tacos around Newberry wasn’t even on my radar, but to my pleasant surprise this establishment apparently opened June 1st.
The tacos are “street taco” size, double tortillas which is proper, cilantro & onion with a couple different salsas to choose from. Awesome 3 bitters.
They were out on Lengua which I was honestly surprised to see on the menu in the U.P, so I settled for Pastor and Chorizo which were both excellent.
I definitely stop in for tacos again.

Well, the food was fantastic! However, we did not appreciate the surprise at the end when we were charged for the queso dip our blond waitress offered us “free of charge”. We bit the bullet and paid the five extra bucks but took it out of her tip and don’t plan to return. Shady.

My family and I were trying to find a vegetarian friendly restaurant on the way to Marquette and something good enough to celebrate my parents anniversary. I looked on google and came across this restaurant but wasn’t sure how it would be since it only had 4.0 stars and a few reviews.
I didn’t at all expect how incredible this restaurant will be. I rarely leave reviews but I had to here – this restaurant deserves a MUCH higher rating. The foods is super affordable and the best mexican food my family has ever had. I have eaten mexican all over the country and in mexico and even my parents who eat it very rarely and we all agreed. The food was so fresh, delicious and huge portions. Starting with the salsa – incredible. The waitress and the owner checked in regularly and were so hospitable and kept anticipating our needs and were incredibly accommodating for dietary restrictions. For vegetarians, I highly recommend the burrito and the fajita. Churro was nice as well.
Definitely a must stop by and worth going out of your way for.

Very nice place to enjoy Mexican flavors.! Savory food, spacious area and amazing people, loved to taste the food there. Nice to have an authentic Mexican restaurant in the vicinity.!! Please add vegetarian chilli garlic noodles in the menu and let me know!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ♥️

I was amazed at how good this food was. I’ve never had such a delicious Mexican dinner. Newberry has an absolute winner. Even the salsas are great. If you give these folks a chance you’ll probably not going to be disappointed.

Grew up in Newberry, and so happy to see the Falls Hotel building back in action! We stopped here for dinner one night and it did not disappoint! I got the shredded beef chimichanga and my partner got the green chili pork burrito! Both were tasty and flavorful! The chips and salsa were delicious too! The server was attentive and friendly as well! So happy to see a new restaurant offering different offerings in Newberry! I hope that the locals embrace this new restaurant! Often new things aren’t embraced there, which, is sadly why there aren’t places to eat or things to do! Our server even encountered a table that wasn’t very pleasant with her, and her and the team handled it well.
Stay home if you want to be difficult and give people a hard time while being out!

I want to start this off by first saying thank you for taking a big risk and opening a great place in a small town that is not custom to having establishments like these. The food and service were both amazing! I moved here 10 years ago from Detroit and have know the difference between average and great authentic Mexican food! Just remember take all comments in stride because you are dealing with an angry society where the majority of people love to complain. Your food is authentic Mexican and wonderful! Keep doing what you’re doing! Your choices were great and my picky kid even tried something I never heard of and loved it! ❤️

Fantastic fresh ingredients, salsa was excellent, our waitress Mikayla recommended the Flauta’s, and they were fantastic, old style fountain drinks (agua frescos) were very taste, and they have great coffee here too!!! Large old beautiful windows with the heat right above you!! Welcome to the UP eh Rincon Mexicano!!

My husband and I each ordered the Burrito Grande and could not believe the size of them. They were not only the biggest burritos I’ve ever seen they were also very tasty. We were very happy with our order and will be back.

Recently visited from Texas. Tried the street taco plate, half pastor half steak. It was amazing! Honestly, I was very skeptical, but was pleasantly surprised. I would go as far as to say that this is a hidden gem in Newberry!!
