We dined at Rincón del Steak with a large party of 9 people, and I can confidently say this was one of the best restaurant experiences I’ve ever had, not just in Guatemala, but anywhere.
From the moment we were seated, the service was exceptional. Despite our large group, everything was handled with perfect timing—orders came out smoothly, no one felt rushed, and nothing was forgotten. What truly stood out was the level of attentiveness from the staff. At one point, my fork fell to the floor, and within seconds, a server appeared with clean utensils—without me even asking. That kind of awareness and care is incredibly rare and speaks volumes about their professionalism and training.
Every server we interacted with was warm, friendly, and genuinely kind. You could tell they cared about our experience and took pride in their work. The staff worked seamlessly together and made us feel welcomed and well taken care of the entire evening.
The food was outstanding—high quality, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. Every dish we ordered was delicious, and by the end of the meal, our entire group felt completely satisfied and fulfilled. It was the kind of meal that leaves you happy, comfortable, and already thinking about coming back.
Overall, Rincón del Steak delivers top-tier service, excellent food, and an atmosphere that makes you feel valued as a guest. I had an early dinner at Rincón Del Steak on a Sunday. The restaurant was not busy. The staffs were all friendly. My server Alvaro spoke very limited English but he was attentive. The menu pictures looked attractive. The octopus taco was disappointing. It was nothing like the picture in the menu and the octopus pieces were too dried. The ribeye steak was fine. Alvaro poured some tequila over the steak and lit up a fire. It was a good show. The tiramisu was creamy and acceptable. Overall, I would come back when I visited Guatemala City.

Went to this place because they had Picanha steak in their menu. I think I was served another cut of meat. The waiter forgot to ask me how I would like my steak, done, and I also forgot to tell him. The steak was cooked almost done, but it was still juicy. He did offer to change it to medium which is what I preferred but was to hungry to wait. Overall a good experience.

I am from Philadelphia in the United States and was taking my girlfriend to dinner here for valentines day and I had many difficulties in sending money for the reservation. The staff went above and beyond to help me with everything and finally we arrived a beautiful romantic table setup and had and amazing dinner with fabulous food. The staff was so friendly and made everything perfect. I will be coming here everytime I visit, approximately every other month. I highly recommend dining here

Woow! Awesome. My food (steak and shrimp) was perfect. The service was super friendly and helpful. They also use microphones to communicate with each other to help faster. The atmosphere is super nice and calm. Be careful with your choice of cooking the meat (everywhere in Latam) . Spend a bit time to explain by pictures. I’m from Germany and Medium in Germany is diferent to here. Medium here might be rare inside. I love my meat medium to “tres quarters”. Then it will be slightly red inside. But if you know and have a bit patience you’re getting the meat you deserve 😀
Small Tipp to the restaurant: prepare the Tiramisu without cocoa powder and put it shortly before serving. And please add a bit Amaretto to the recipe.

Came here for a burger, you can usually expect high quality burgers from a steak house, these were really terrible burgers super dense, not fresh and poor quality meat, low quality cheese and very dry and general with huge bready bun. This was one of those fortunate situations on which I wanted to have a steak and I chose a place based on the atmosphere and a couple of pictures, but I even read the reviews. The Uber driver told me this was one of his favorite places and now I understand why. This cloth wrapped steak is delicious! I highly recommend it if you are in town!
