Incredible every time! They staff is so kind. I’ve had the fried chicken and fish and it’s phenomenal. The plantains and cabbage with sauce I crave it. If you haven’t been you will not regret!

So in many ways this place is typical of the ‘latin’-esque food/restuarants you will find in the area, but the food has a honduran(catracho) flare to it that gives it a little more slap than the usual joints around town. Better lunch spot than anything in my opinion. But watch your bill. They get tricky with the dollars and add on’s add up real quick including a mandatory 15% gratuity added to anything to tip. The food here was excellent and we had a great experience, but after we paid for our food we realized they added an automatic gratuity of 15% to the check.
We were only a group of 2 and I didn’t see anything posted about an automatic gratuity. So we ended up tipping 35% unintentionally. I don’t know why they added the automatic tip, and I’m disappointed because we had such a good experience otherwise. It left a sour taste in my mouth ):

Looking for a different flare to you food. Check this place out. Honduran food that is packed with flavor. Both dishes that were ordered at the table were definitely worth trying. And the juice… The juice is something to write home about. We had the melon and the passion fruit juices and I would go back just for them. I will be back.

Maybe it was an off day but I was disappointed in the pupusas – they were bland. The Bandeja Paisa was a Honduran version of the Colmbian standard and was pretty good – three meats and the chicken was especially tasty and tender.

Today I called to make an order and the first time they hung up I thought it was an accident so I called back. They answered and began having conversations with everyone else around them while I sat on the phone saying hello? Hello? We got there and the bathroom had trash filled to the rim. I asked for my baleadas without cream and they put it anyways. If you’re going to raise your prices you need to deliver that same business and favor to your customers.

This was our first time at Rincon Catracho. It was very good, well priced and the ingredients were fresh. Unlike those chain restaurants, there was plenty of lettuce, avocado, and other fresh veggies on top. My husband had the Chicken Stick which was basically a chicken kabob, rice. beans, plantains and a smoked sausage. He was happy with his meal as well. We will definitely be back to try other items.
