I recently stopped by Rincon Catrachito, and overall it was a decent experience with some positives but also a few things that kept it from being a higher rating.
First off, the restaurant itself is clean and fairly spacious. The dining area has a simple, casual setup with plenty of tables and a relaxed atmosphere. It feels like a small neighborhood spot where people can come in, sit down, and enjoy a meal without it feeling overly crowded. The decor has a traditional Latin restaurant feel with artwork on the walls, which adds some character to the space.
The food itself was good, but not particularly memorable. The dishes looked appealing when they came out, and the portions were fair for the price range. There was a nice variety of options on the menu, and it’s clear they focus on traditional latin style comfort food. Some elements of the meal were flavorful, especially the seasoned meats and sides, but a few parts felt a little inconsistent. Certain items could have used a bit more seasoning or freshness to really stand out.
Service was polite and welcoming, which I appreciated. The staff seemed friendly and tried to make sure guests were taken care of. However, things did move a bit slowly at times, and the overall energy in the restaurant felt somewhat quiet and low-key. While that might be nice for some people, it also made the place feel a little less lively than expected during a dinner hour.
Overall, Rincon Catrachito is a solid local spot if you’re looking to try Latin cuisine in a casual environment. The food is decent, the portions are reasonable, and the atmosphere is comfortable. That said, with a little more consistency in flavor and a bit more energy in the dining experience, it could easily move up to a stronger rating.

This has become one of my favorite spots for carne asada and other favorite dishes that remind me of back home. The dining area is very cozy and welcoming. I tried the nachos with chicken tinga this time and was not disappointed. Their chips are very fresh and tasty. My friend ordered the chilaquiles and was pleased aside from her burning mouth. Not everyone can handle spicy, but I love their sauces and salsa! Very good portions as well. They have daily specials, “gringo” food options and great beverages too! Please support a local restaurant and give them a try.

Hidden gem right down the road. Wanted to support our local restaurant that I’d heard about but hadn’t tried yet. We got carne asada, birra tacos & enchiladas. Everything was delicious and came out hot and fresh. We also had chips and house made salsa and a couple rounds of beer with our dinner. Will be back again! PS – to find the full menu, check it out on one of the delivery sites. Their website menu isn’t accurate.

Carnitas burrito and a beer hit the spot. Although I went simple, they have a number of unique options (at least to me) that I’ll be back to try. The atmosphere is bright, and the service was friendly and super fast. I want to call out their salsa which is loaded with veggies and flavor, not the watery tomato puree.you get in some places. Worth a visit!

I can’t get enough of their tacos!!! Three things I love: their green sauce, the radishes, and the pickled cucumbers! They elevate the tacos from good to great!

Quiet and relaxed. I LOVED the shrimp tacos. My wife enjoyed the chiles rellenos very much. I’d recommend this place to anyone!

Oh, I see this place has since changed names before the time I uploaded my previous review. Let me just rehash this: If you take a look at this Torta de Milanesa and somehow say that this is done poorly, you are simply wrong. Excellent place, excellent food, excellent Jamaica, just excellent all around!

What do they put in their rice and beans?? Everything here is so good, but I tell you their rice and beans are not your average…the flavor in everything is so good. Hidden gem for sure.
