What an incredible experience from start to finish. The food was absolutely outstanding, full of flavour, beautifully presented and clearly freshly prepared. Every dish was rich, perfectly spiced and cooked to perfection. You can really taste the quality of the ingredients.
The service was just as impressive. The staff were warm, attentive and genuinely welcoming without being overbearing. They made us feel looked after the entire evening and nothing was too much trouble.
If you’re looking for authentic Indian food with exceptional service, this is the place. We’ll definitely be back and highly recommend it to anyone who loves amazing food and a great atmosphere.

We were excited to try this restaurant having heard lots of good things about it. We booked online and that was really easy.
The restaurant was really well presented and there were lots of table options. We ordered and the food came in a. Good time. The sea food sharing platter was delicious.
We had a lamb and a goat main course and they were both delicious. The meat was very tender and well cooked.
We found that the portions were a really good size, and one rice and nan was perfect for us. The table next to us were taking home left over food in boxes provided which was a nice touch.
The food was excellent we will be going again.

We had an incredible family dinner here on Bank Holiday Monday.Immaculate restaurant, the food was absolutely delicious and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Definitely a best Winchester favourite!

Me and my son had eaten here before and loved it. We returned yesterday and it was still lovley. Friendly service, nice well cooked food. We had the water buffalo tikka masala. And the kema naan actually had real meat in it unlike many who dont.

Me and my friends was looking for halal food and then we found this and we were so happy with their services specially there was a staff call emon who is very friendly and kind. He helped us to look which food is very tasty and we really enjoyed. I recommend their “tadka daal” is soooo delicious.

We were really excited to try this place as it has been nominated for a few awards (apparently). Unfortunately the service and food was very disappointing . The service was slow, most of the men in this place are very rude ( i say most because a young guy who delivered the food a few times was very nice). The food was bland, and badly spiced, and overpriced considering the quality. I tried my sister’s korma and i can say it is the worst one i have ever had! Sainsbury’s is 10x better, and that is saying a lot. I suppose the reviews reflect that this place is not great, otherwise they’d have 5 stars.

A good curry house. Clean and a varied menu. I had monkfish curry which was tasty. I also tried friends choices – one vegetarian, and one chicken. Both okay. Nice staff and a big restaurant area.

I think the Rimjhim restaurant is easily the best Indian restaurant in Winchester. Whenever I have been there, the food has been excellent, and so much more than ‘standard’ Indian food. The special starter was delicious, not something you’d find anywhere else and I really enjoyed the Water Buffalo main. So much thought has gone into the menu, and it shows how creative and skilled the chef is. Combined with a drink at the Steel Tank beforehand, what more can you ask for a relaxed evening out!

Food was delicious. Service was incredibly slow, I had to chase the food order after 1hr 20 mins of waiting for the main course. I also then had to chase the bill after asking for it 25mins before it was brought to the table. We paid part cash and part card, the waitress told us the amount left on card after we’d handed over the cash, the return to the table 5 mins later to blame a miscalculation of the bill amount on me, despite me having taking her advice on the amount in the first place. I’ve been here twice and can’t deny the food is delicious but the waiting time for the food is unacceptable and I won’t be attending again.

I’ve been coming here every time I visit my family in Winchester for as long as I can remember. The food is always excellent, take out or eating in. I could probably eat the chicken Korma like 4 times a week. Will come back as long as this place exists, highly recommend.
