Riley’s is an old time coffee shop, with a great menu breakfast, lunch and dinner. Nice sized servings. Clean restroom clea restaurant has counter seating some TV’s, and a large well lit bar with slots.

I wouldn’t go out of my way for this restaurant but it was open so we went. Our customer service was great but our food was pretty mediocre. My French toast tasted like fish and my eggs were very dry. Unfortunately my breakfast wasn’t hot when it arrived. The butter wouldn’t even melt on my French toast.

Really poor quality breakfast. We both ordered bacon cheese omelets with pancakes @ $14.95 per meal. The omelets were small with cold pre-cooked bacon and a tiny piece of cheese on top.
Consequently, the omelets were extremely dry with no favor. The pancakes were very overcooked, so they were also very dry with a strange texture.
Don’t waste your time and capital on this place if you want to enjoy a good breakfast.

They were clearly trying to run a nice family restaurant and I don’t want to say anything mean. They’re doing what they can with what they got, but it seems like what they’ve got is a sherries that went out of business that they’re trying to keep alive under a new name. The benches that have fabric seats all have huge rips and holes. The place was empty and cavernous. They gave me the wrong fries and it made me sad. (A small thing but I was really looking forward to the sweet potato fries. They replaced it and it was fine but I was genuinely disappointed when I saw them.) Maybe it was the day of the week or something? Maybe they were just off their game going into the slow season. Who knows.

Service was super friendly. She mentioned she is always the only employee. She did everything from greeting us, seating us, taking our order, then cashing us out at the end. It wasn’t that busy but she barely came around to check on us. We never got to request refills til we were done eating. As for the food my chicken breast dish had no flavor, I only took one bite and left the rest. It was supposed to come with garlic toast but they gave me a dinner roll with butter. My husband ordered a double bacon cheeseburger and they left out one patty. We let them know and they told us it would be 7mins for another patty to get made. They weren’t going to remake the whole burger so we said just forget it. They still charged us for it. They brought us an extra drink and charged us for that too. I would never go back here and would not recommend it, but kudos to that cashiee/waitresses for taking in everything.

Looking for a quick bite with the family at a decent price?? Riley’s restaurant and lounge is a pretty decent restaurant a few blocks from Broadway, the food was delicious at a fare price and was very quickly brought to the table. The customer service was great and had a nice atmosphere for friends and family. Will definitely be back on our next trip through seaside. Also its way more practical than waiting in line for pig’n’pancakes for 50 mins.

When you’re hungry a place like this can be a blessing because it will definitely fill your stomach, but it might leave your taste buds wanting more. The service was fast and friendly and the food came out quickly, but everything tasted like it came out of a package and was quickly thrown on the grill. The eggs were rubbery, the sausage was Jimmy Dean quality, and while the biscuits and gravy were piled high, I’ve never had sausage gravy that was so devoid of sausage or flavor. It tasted like milk and flour and had a gooey consistency and really, if I’m going to blow my calorie limit for the day it better be for something tasty.
I don’t know if I would come back here, but it fills a niche, and for that, it’s acceptable.

Stopped here because it was easy to find. Breakfast looked amazing. Had the fish & chips. Both were good. The lone staff person was fantastic!!! Attentive, pleasant and friendly with a relaxed positive energy. Food came out hot and quickly. Portion vs pricing and flavor was reasonable. Solid place to eat, but not a place I’m excited to revisit.
