The food was just mid for me. I ordered a 12″ chicken, 8″ beef cheese steaks with cheese fries. The chicken was just ok, tasted like it was just seasoned from the whats been cooked on the flattop, did not have enough cheese and onions. The meat to bread ratio was lacking for the price. The beef, it was slightly better you can taste the seasoning , not enough cheese and onions and a lil less meet to bread ratio compared to the chicken. The cheese fries was the best part, over priced for the portion size bust I was happy to have cheese on every fry. Overall I’ll rather drive a lil further away to get a better product, I live in Lovejoy.

I got a strong recommendation from a friend of my husband’s, an old school Philly man (Mr. Gene) and I’m so glad I tried Riley’s! Them jawns are the truth!

I tried them twice before writing this review. had the chicken cheesesteak the first time and got the beef cheesteak the second time and BOTH times there was a lack of flavor. my mom is born and raised in philly and I had very high hopes for this place and sadly keep getting disappointed. i really wanted to like it, but i wish there was more flavor , it tastes barely seasoned. eating bread and meat. only giving 3 stars because it’s black owned. it really deserves 2.

I had a Philly cheese steak and the 8in was very flavorful and seasoned good it had a decent amount of cheese ratio to the meat but I must say it was the most oily Philly I’ve ever eaten. So for that reason alone is why I wouldn’t reccommend eating here unless you have A1 health. Way to greasy but other then that they are decent also 12in should be incorporated because the one 8in typically wouldn’t be enough to satisfy a grown man ..

Last week we ordered from Riley’s but it was delivery and our food was ice cold but the Philly Cheesesteak was still very flavorful so I thought it would be a great idea to give them another try today but to dine in so we could eat our food hot. I ordered the 12 in with hot and sweet peppers I had 1 hot pepper in the first bite only my meat was burnt they didn’t put the condiments on my sandwich as requested. I got the beef steak egg rolls where the cheese was basically non existent and enough oil to cook something else in.My daughter saw they had wings so we decided try because I asked the young lady if the wings were small because I don’t like big chicken wings she said they were so we ordered them they come out and guess what they were big chicken wings so we didn’t eat them I just took them home to my grandsons I ordered 4 orders of fries that didn’t come out with the food it was 2 small 2 large when the manager addressed the cook he basically arguing with her about the fries instead of just getting it out I didn’t get the other 2 until I said I was ready to go when I get home I find out I didn’t get the 2 large fries I paid for he gave the 2 small fries that were actually large fries to the two at the table that ordered small fries. It took an hour to get our food and 10 mins to try to eat before we just packed it all up and left. This was the worst dining experience I ever had for the money I spent .The only thing positive I have to say is when I did that take out order they didn’t have any diet cokes and the young lady working that night told my daughter that she would walk over to Krogers to get it so I could have one since my daughter told her I was diabetic. I am from South Jersey so I grew up on authentic Philly Cheesesteak and I thought I found my spot as I’ve been in Atlanta for 30 yrs and can’t find a good sandwich so I wait until I go back home for visits but again I was wrong. Not saying they can’t turn it around they have the ability to and they could come up with a combo for the 12in because I honestly thought the sandwich came with fries since it was $15 definitely not worth the money I spent in this establishment.

I’m just confused on why 2-12 inch cheese steaks 1 with cheese, mushrooms and ketchup and the with everything on with 2 fries and 2 orange crush sodas cost $53? This was my first time ever eating the food. My husband WAS a frequent customer of there’s. My cheese steak was greasy and so was his. Our fries ended up steamed because they closed the lid, and condensation accumulated inside of the container and our fries were flimsy and wet. Im from South Jersey so I know about cheese steaks. Unfortunately yesterday was our last day. We won’t order anymore from them.
