I didn’t even want to give this place one star, but I had to. I was literally eating my fried rice and saw something big and black in it. Thinking that surely it was a spice or something to enhance the flavor, I took another bite. Upon further investigation I realized that it is a literal cockroach / beetle / bug that I did not order as an add on in my fried rice. This is so disgusting and I’m genuinely not sure how I will eat again. Do not go here EVER

My business partners and I recently dined at Rien Tong Thai Asian & Sushi Bar. We ordered Shrimp Pad Thai, Shrimp Basil Fried Rice, Beef Drunken Noodles, Soft Shell Crab, and Orange Chicken were all excellent. Each dish showcased authentic flavors, and the service was impeccable. This is our new favorite restaurant and will come back soon. Thank you for the delicious dishes and exceptional experience.

I live right by here and have ordered a few times because they’re open late. I have never once thought that my meal was better than mediocre. Their pad Thai was super bland, their sushi doesn’t not taste fresh, and their wonton soup was not great either, especially for the price. Staff has been friendly every time I’ve picked up however. If you’re looking for something to get you by, it’ll work but I couldn’t recommend this place unfortunately.

I have never had sushi so HORRIBLE in my life. The fish tasted like sewage, so obviously it was not fresh at all. The fish even looked funky and gross; I can’t believe I actually tried it. Now I totally believe the other reviewers who found cockroaches and flies in their food. I ordered nigiri with tuna, salmon, and yellow tail and all were disgusting. They looked brown and not well. I almost threw up. Please do NOT get sushi from here! I’m still shocked they were able to serve raw fish this way. Someone needs to do a health inspection on this restaurant ASAP. I’m shocked I didn’t get food poisoning.

This restaurant has very authentic Asian food including Thai, Japanese and Chinese. Those dishes included pad Thai with beef, sushi mix platter, beef chow fun and Mongolian beef. Those dishes taste so delicious. The food are reasonable prices and excellent services. This restaurant definitely is great hidden gem on the East Coast. We will come back next time. Chan C

I had tom yum soup and my boyfriend got the chicken ka pow and hot and sour soup. We both got sick from eating this food.

While other Thai restaurants had raised their price, Rien Tong is cheap and gives large portion. Ladna is $14 to $18. This restaurant is only $12. I took metro from Rockville to Ft Myer by CLARENDON METRO. I looked for a restaurant. I read all bad reviews first. I came in. Wow! It is perfect and delicious.

This is a Hong Kong Thai style restaurant. Food is both Chinese and Thai. The owner is very polite and friendly.
This is a very nice family dining atmosphere. Music is low range that you can bring friends or family to dine in and enjoy conversation.
Some Thai food is made so you can add your own favor to your own taste. I can’t eat spicy food. Ladna is sweet sour and lille salty. You tell them if you don’t want sugar or whatever.
You see Thai, Chinese, or Vietnamese restaurants offer condiments on the table for you. My ladna tastes perfect that I don’t need to add anything. It is rare to find a Thai restaurant cook ladna perfectly.
I will be back again if I come this areas.

I’ve been getting California rolls here for ever. Pretty good. Old school lady boss is kinda what people may consider rude, but I think that’s just the way she is. Other than that I would recommend this place for the sushi and bubble tea.

This place is disgusting. Sushi is always a little off, and I am finally not going back ever again after getting food poisoning from going this past monday. I should’ve known. Just look at this roll in the picture and tell me if this looks like something you should eat. It’s not. If you eat here, you will get sick. I’m mad that I’ve had to waste my last 3 days being sick. Never coming back here again, and you should not either.
