The Riders Club Cafe is a low-key delicious burger and hotdog place. It is a popular spot for the locals.
We were highly encouraged to try this restaurant by my brother-in-law who is living nearby and his family has visited many times.
We all had one kids’ meal, one cheeseburger, two chili hot dog combos, two chili dogs à la carte with three beers, and two drinks.
They were all delicious. The chili hot dog is a must-try item. I recommend the chocolate homemade pudding and rice crispy treat desserts as well.
After we tried both of them. The family ordered two more chocolate puddings. My husband ordered the second Rice Crispy treat for breakfast. The table next to us overheard it and also bought it before they left.
For your reference, the inside seats are limited but there is an outdoor patio.
The outside seats are next to the ocean and main road so during cold weather it may be a little bit cold. Therefore, I would suggest you bring a warm coat.

My husband and I ate here for the first time last night… and we were so impressed! We heard lots of good things about this spot so we were a bit skeptical if it would live up to the hype, but it totally did. We just got their classic beef burger with some add ons. It was a good size patty, cooked well, and great flavor. I tried their sweet potato waffle fries which we’re soo good – perfect balance of crunchy and pillowy. All their condiments are homemade. Good beer. Nice quaint little vibe with a short walk to the beach. We’re for sure going back to try out some of their other items – namely the carnitas sandwich and chili fries!

I had a burger with bleu cheese and it was fantastic and 10/10. My kids had a hotdog and burger and were happy with that and their fries. This is the first time I’ve found chimay beer in draft and it hit the spot.
Wrapped up with a strawberry shake and it was great too.
It was slow and a bit chilly so not too many people around. Had an ocean view. Definitely will come back, I can’t think of Many better meals when it’s warm either.

Absolutely fantastic burger and a great, chill, location! The most important thing to nail with a burger is the heat and ratios of the ingredients, and this spot executes it perfectly! Great attentive and friendly staff as well. Definitely will be back!

Absolutely delicious. WOW the burger was amazing and the sweet potato fries were the best thing I have ever had no joke. I had this a week ago and I’m still thinking about them. Seriously this place makes some really good food and that was my first time, I can’t imagine how good the rest of the menu is!

Exceptional service, everyone is so kind and accommodating and friendly. The food is out of this world, especially the fries, get the fries!!!! There are some of the most delicious fries I’ve ever had and their sauce….Their house sauce is insane and delicious tangy rich and exactly what you want it to be for burgers and fries. They are super dog friendly( that’s our puppy eating his K-9 friendly burger), very lovely, and just couldn’t be happier that this place is right next to my house

This place is a hidden treasure, and I’m about to spill all the juicy details. Their hot dogs are so good, they could give Costco a run for their money. Who would’ve thought? I opted for a cheeseburger, plain and simple, with a little lettuce thrown in (gotta get those veggies somehow, right?). The patty was juicy, the cheese perfectly melted, and the overall combination was just divine. The only downside? They only serve chips as a side.
The Rider Club Cafe takes their brews seriously. They have a unique draft beer selection that will make any beer enthusiast weak in the knees. Just ask the staff to share their brewing knowledge with you, and you’ll be sipping on liquid gold in no time. Try it with their gourmet beers on tap. Awesomeness!!!

I can honestly say probably the best hamburger I’ve ever had in California if not in the states. hodad’s in OB claims I have the world’s best burger. it’s a gimmick. their burger is trash. THIS PLACE HERE THOUGH RIDERS IS A HIDDEN GEM, and they have one of my favorite beers or you can’t really get anywhere else a beer brewed by monks.

Such a cute place, with fresh burgers and quite a few variations to try, different toppings etc. Homemade pickles beets as a side and Homemade dessert rice crispy treats were SOOOO GOOOD!!! Loved this little spot.

Burger is very thick, flavor packed and filling. They have a different twist to the seasoning. I don’t think it needs it and it isn’t bad but worth a try. I got my burger cooked well ( no pink) and they managed it perfectly cooked with no burnt meat. Everything was melted perfectly. The cheese and grilled onions are amazing and I’d recommend not passing on grilled onions here. I wish I had tried bacon because the way everything else was prepared was so juicy, and flavorful the crunch of a thick strip of bacon would set this burger over the top. The bun was soft and perfectly contained the burger patty as fat as it was. It was the right ratio and it didn’t take away from anything but instead complimented it. The staff was great. Friendly, helpful and authentic. Love the aesthetic of the place and simplicity of the menu. Fries were just okay but their ketchup is different. It’s a bit more tangy and I didn’t find out what kind it was but it turned decent fries into something where you end up eating them so quickly the next thing you know they are gone. Truly unique burger worth trying for anyone that enjoys a good burger. Highly recommend
