I have not been to Rix County store since pre-covid. Then, I would have given it 5 stars. Today, I stopped in because I was out of coffee at home. The store was bare. I grabbed a small coffee… No lids. I had to use a fountain pop lid to cover my black coffee.

Had an assorted sub and it was good. My order was taken promptly and I got my sub very fast. The exterior and interior is in rough shape. It has the appearance of a struggling business due to the deteriorated condition. Take out only.

Had an issue with our order a few weeks ago. Ordered a pizza and the entire cheese was off the pizza and it wasn’t cut. They offered to either make us a new one or give us the one from the display case. We took the one from the display case and they gave us a “$15 credit” for the issue. Got home and opened the wings and they were inedible. Called again, spoke with Lee who said she added an additional $10 credit on our account and we called it a day. Just called to order food and use our credit – turns out there is no credit on the account. The quality of the food as deteriorated so much and the fact that management lied about a credit is unacceptable.

Took a cruise out from So. Buffalo to get a couple of subs. It was worth the ride. It’s the only place we know of that melts the cheese, and that… makes the sub. Also, the price doesn’t break the bank. We will definitely be back.

The food was delicious, but the service left a lot to be desired. My co-workers and I decided to pitch in on a large pizza and a salad for lunch. We called and asked for a “Chicken in the Grass” pizza and a salad. The cashier on the phone took our order and then gave us the total with tip included as $44. We thought that was pretty high, but we knew the food was great so we didn’t think much of it. When the delivery driver arrived, he told us our total of $44 but that it didn’t include the tip. At that point, we knew something was up. $44 for a pizza and a salad?! After talking to the delivery driver, I was told that they don’t sell a “Chicken in the Grass” pizza and that they charged us for a large white pizza, and then extra for chicken, extra for spinach, and extra for garlic. Had we known that when we called, we probably would have changed our order. Because after one co-worker felt so bad and pitched in extra money, my other co-worker and I still ended up paying almost $15 each. My issue isn’t with quality of food, it’s the quality of service. It would have taken the person on the phone two seconds to tell us that everything we were ordering was extra because the pizza we wanted wasn’t on the menu. With so many other options in town, it’s doubtful that I’ll ever give Ricotta’s my business again.

I ordered from here only because I had a Uber eats coupon. I was worried after reading the reviews but it really was good. It’s no imperial pizza but decent. The wings and chicken fingers taco were the winners. Not many places do a chicken fingers taco. I will order from them again. I say give it a try.

The food and service has drastically declined over the years. Wings have been smaller and smaller. Twice in the past couple months wings were missing in my order. I told the female manager and she did not do anything about it or care. Pappacenos is much better quality food and less expensive.
