Clean and bright atmosphere. Service was good. Call ahead and online reservations. Food was abundant on plate but at a price. Will probably return but will split a meal with wife. Took half my fajitas home.
Fish Tacos were good but at $6 each should have been great and overflowing.
Margarita was weak and flavor was not to my liking.. 1/2 pitcher $20 yielded 3 glasses. They need to provide value for $20. I probably will not order this again unless they improve the recipe.
Have Complementary chips and salsa.

Stopped into Rico’s Taco & Tequila in Strongsville, Ohio for lunch. Great menu. They have lunch specials and a lunch menu. I decided to get the Quesa Birrias (not on lunch menu) served with a beef broth soup. The food came out quickly. I also had chips & salsa. All the food I had was good. The service was great. There is a really nice patio and a full bar.

Great ambiance. Food was delicious. Our orders came out super fast. Overall I would say it’s a pretty decent experience. However pricing, very ouch. $50 for 1 burrito, 1 house special and a children’s quesadilla. That is hella steep especially when there are 3+ different Mexican restaurants w/in a 1 mile radius’s.

Surprisingly good great service good food average price i would definitely go back just the warm chips and salsa. I love the decor and setting of the place. It feels hip and alive. I have had chimichangas across the country and was a little disappointed in this one. Feels like it lacked character. It wasn’t bad. It just didn’t have a specific direction with the flavor of the meat. Maybe this is palette. The margarita flight was good and service outstanding.

We really enjoyed Rico’s. Sure not every restaurant opens with a bang and Rico’s certainly had some kinks to work out but it’s awesome now. Nice new furniture and bar area, everything is super clean. Food is amazing the chori pollo is life changing. Margaritas could use a little help but for a $10 jumbo you really can’t complain. Salsa was fine, house made, no mystery ketchup flavor. Rico’s definitely has a place in Strongsville and is worth a visit. Plus no crazy wait like barrio or Gran fiesta or condado so if you’re hungry and want a good quick meal without a 45 min wait then Rico’s is it.

The service was excellent. The restaurant wasn’t very busy, so it was not as hectic as our last visit. We ordered queso with chorizo, which went well with the warm tortilla chips. The White Sangria was very sweet and had a lot of triple sec in it. It definitely needed more wine. It is also served in a much small glass than the menu depicts.
The Pollo Loco was tasty. The chicken breast is very thin, which makes it a bit tough at the edges though.
The Birria Tacos were phenomenal, as usual. We take home the broth that comes with it and make birria Ramen at home, adding the leftover taco meat. Going to try Rico’s Birria Ramen next time.
The claw machines at the door were fun. We won 2 rubber ducks. Overall, the meal experience was a success.

First time here and I must say my husband and I were both very pleasantly surprised! Their food is very good, reasonably priced, and made quickly! The staff is very friendly and I love the day of the dead theme! We will absolutely be back!

Almost lost some stars because they didn’t have to go silverware. The guy was very apologetic, even gave me silverware to take. I have it back. Enough about that, the tacos, beans, rice, everything was excellent!! Will definitely be back. I love tacos and these are legit.

Although the prices were a bit higher than some of the other taco places in Strongsville at first glance, the food was excellent. The Tacos la Pastor we’re delicious. We had the Trio appetizer and split the tacos and it was a good amount of food. I was a bit concerned when I saw the margarita was $18, but after getting it, I understood why. They were enormous and strong. We will definitely be back.
