We wandered over to the closest taco place and this was amazing. The service was incredibly fast and the food was crazy good. Lots of thematic drinks on tap, my horchata was great. I’d have gone back for my next meal but we were on our way out.

I had high expectations, but they ended up being misplaced. I ended up only eating half of it even though I was starving. The flavor of the meat and the salsa just wasn’t to my taste. The beans had a weird consistency and more like canned refried. I will stay with my go to King Taco.

Amazing authentic tacos and burritos. This place is popular with the locals. It was fun to try ordering in Spanish like the locals 😀 outdoor seating available but mostly take away. I had a chicken burrito with pineapple juice which was delicious. The hibiscus juice and tongue taco recommended by my sister.

One of my favorite taco spots around this area. They really take out the fat in their asada meat. Pops enjoyed their Al pastor meat.

Tacos El Tio is what I wish we had on the East Coast. A small and tasty taco shop with cheap tacos. These are authentic tacos and less “California style”, but they capture the authenticity of Mexican cuisine with good Al Pastor, Asada and other classics like Lengua. If this was local to me, I would be here all the time.

We were in the Hawthorne area and wanted some authentic tacos. This place looked to have good reviews.

The service was good. But the food was really bad. Not sure if it was because it was late. I ordered a burrito with cheese and avocado which is an extra charge but there was no cheese. The burrito was mostly beans without barely any meat. I also order 2 tacos, one of buche and cabeza. The buche was rubbery and dry and not good. The cabeza was so gross, and The tortilla was super soggy that it all turned to mush. Maybe I went at a bad night but I wouldn’t recommend.

Visited twice: it’s OK for tacos, they’re open late and with not much competition nearby. I don’t like that they sauced the tacos before packing, it was a bit of a soggy mess. Lengua and asada were the hits for me.

Really good Tortas and Tacos. No Frills & but authentic. Lines gets long at times, limited seating and parking. Go here for the food nothing else.

This is the BEST Mexican food I’ve ever had. I’m from Philly and it is NOT this good back at home! This will be a must have for me every time I come to Los Angeles!
