Always a good meal here. They hooked me up with a bean quesadilla when I didn’t want meat. They’re super friendly and quick. The food is reasonably priced.

I stopped by Rico’s Taco Café in North Charleston and had a great experience! I tried three tacos—Steak Asada, Chicken, and Pork (al pastor) and each one was packed with flavor and cooked just right. The meats were juicy and well-seasoned, and the tortillas were fresh and warm. To top it off, I had a pineapple soda that was refreshing and paired perfectly with the meal. Friendly service and great food—I’ll definitely be coming back!
Update: I stopped by Rico’s Taco Cafe again the next day and tried the Steak Asada Burrito, only $8 and it was absolutely delicious! The steak was tender and flavorful, the burrito was packed full of fresh ingredients, and everything was perfectly seasoned. Great value for the price and a satisfying meal. I’ll definitely be back to try more the menu!
Updated again!: Stop in again and tried the **Steak (Asada) Quesadilla**—absolutely delicious! The steak was juicy, the cheese was perfectly melted, and the flavors were spot on. Very filling. Another great meal at a great price ($9)! See Pictures 🙂

Get out of your comfort zone. Get over whatever you have against food trucks. Get over your issues because you’re missing some good food. This place is great. And super affordable! Three tacos and a soda for $10?? I’ll do that any day of the week. If your idea is a chain or has “Tex Mex” in the title, get over to this truck. I was visiting but every time I’m back, better believe I’ll be here.

At Rico’s Tacos, the experience goes beyond just great food – the staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating. They create a welcoming atmosphere where I feel comfortable practicing my Spanish while ordering. As I indulge in their mouthwatering Mulitas with Pastor, the tender pork infused with aromatic spices dances on my taste buds, leaving me craving more with every bite. And when I’m in the mood for something hearty, their Burritos, packed with flavorful ingredients, never fail to impress. Rico’s Tacos not only serves up delicious dishes but also offers a cultural immersion that enhances the dining experience, making every visit memorable.

Good food for a good price.
Ordered tacos (al pastor & asada) & Torata
Tacos came with limes, any veggies.
Torata came with guacamole and veggies. Did however lack in a bit of meat.
Best I’ve had so far in Charleston.

We love Hispanic food and tacos. One of my favorite go to taco trucks. Food comes out fast! Need cheese, jalapeños or extra sauce…boom done. I typical go with asada but the chicken chorizo and other options are awesome. The verde hot sauce…boom. Great service quick and honest good prices. Thank y’all.

Best Tacos and Aguas Frescas I ever tasted. Theres never a long wait and the staff is super sweet. All of the ingredients are fresh, flavorful, and second to none. I recommend the pork with diced apples tacos, carne Asada, and the chicken tacos. The Aquas frescos the Melon and pineapple are my favorites.
