Wow, what a great pie! These guys do it right. Everything looks so good, I had to try one of each slice! I can’t say I was disappointed with any of them. They even made fresh noodles for my kids. Excellent NY style pizza. I was visiting from Massapequa NY, the unofficial pizza capital of long Island, and was in need of some good pizza. Rico’s did not disappoint. Their sauce and dough was very tasty. Service was quick and friendly.

First thought looks like a nice place but employee are clueless and very rude. i asked how much a veggie slice was the one guy was like you want one or two. i was well i would like to know how how much each are first he points to other guy so i ask him he says come over here so i walk over and he says what do you want rudely i say veggie slice how much he says one i say no i want to know how much first he looks up say about 4.50 maybe 5. wow so i was hungry and order one instead of two because of his attitude. well pizza was very blan not good would not come back or refer.

Plates CLEANED by this bridal party!! On a beautiful quiet Thursday evening, this bachelorette group of girls came in and were treated like true bridal royalty. Not only did the bride-to-be receive a slice on the house, but then an entire heart shaped pizza made its way to the table for the girls to enjoy all weekend long amongst their adventures I cannot recommend Rico‘s pizzeria enough. We visit Rico’s every year during our annual trip to Lido Beach and we can honestly say it’s the absolute best pizza we eat all year! This year we went for a 12” white pizza with bacon, mushrooms and onions as well as a small calzone that comes standard with ricotta, mozzarella and ham and it was SUPERB! It was so soothing to sit and watch Dominic “The Christmas Donkey” expertly make all the orders as they came in. We watched him make our pizza and calzone and it was as fresh as could be and “the build” for both was perfect, the right amount of ingredients to be completely satisfying. Alexandra who to our order and brought it to the table was very friendly and helpful as well. We can’t wait to come back next year. If you’re looking for the best pizza in town, this is THE spot!

I asked the lady taking my order a few questions, none of which she seemed happy to answer. Most surprisingly, when I asked her opinion between the choice of two of their subs, she replied “I don’t eat here.” All of the staff seemed generally unhappy to be there. I orderd the buffalo chicken sub with fries and a drink. The fries were wonderful, much better than the sandwich which was simply a small chicken tender with soggy breading with a slice of cheese and generic buffalo sauce. The quality of the tender made believe it was store bought and previously frozen. Next time I’ll try the pizza or the meatball sub.

Walked in for the first time and was immediately met with a very rude woman taking our order. We ordered a cheese pizza with a few toppings to go and were told it would take about 20 minutes. No problem. We walked around for about 15 minutes and then waited another 20 minutes in the store. When we asked for an update, we were told it was in the oven and they would call our name. After another 20 minutes, we asked again and were told the same thing. Eventually, they called our name, only to realize they had given our pizza to the wrong person. They were not sure how long ago. They remade it, and about 10 minutes later we finally got it. In total, we waited about an hour for one pizza while other customers were in and out. There was no apology, refund, or any attempt to make it right. Very disappointing experience. Customer service matters.
