We come here at least weekly. The waiters know our order before we even sit down. We live about 15 minutes from this location, there are closer restaurants like this but we always choose to come here. They have never failed us once. When you get there, order “white sauce” to go with your chips it’s a Richmond thing and taste amazing! They have free fresh chips when you sit down as well!

The service was excellent in the atmosphere was nice family comfortable. The chips and salsa were very good. Being from Texas, this type of Mexican was not my normal style. I had the shrimp chimichanga and it was okay. My husband had the chicken enchiladas Verde and said the same. The service was very good and I would recommend.

We wanted to venture away from the west end and try Rico’s and it was absolutely delicious. Mom is hard to please and she loved her shredded chicken quesadilla. I got the street tacos and they were outstanding. The carnitas were very tender and the sauces were great. Definitely worth the trip and we will be back for more.

Nice vegetarian options. This is the enchiladas ricas. It was good but the enchilada sauce was sweet somehow. Threw things off a bit. The salsa was very good and not spicy which I appreciate so much! You can always add spice to things but can’t take it out.

Delicious food. This is hands down, the best place to get Carnitas. I’ve been to many local Mexican restaurants and none of them compare to the carnitas of Rico’s on Hull St. They give a very generous serving and it’s always delicious. They also give free chips and salsa with your to go orders!!

The reason it gets three stars is because our waiter disappeared a lot couldn’t find him most the time and the food wasn’t really special nothing really different about it kind of basic but i got a taco salad with shrimp it was good but wish I got chicken instead but that was my fault but we also got a fried ice cream which was great we split it and was enough for two.
