We placed a large lunch order because everything on the menu looked so good, we couldn’t decide! I tried the ground beef wet burrito — the portion was very generous, though it wasn’t quite my favorite. It didn’t have much of the red sauce I was expecting and was a bit on the liquidy side, probably from all the lettuce and tomatoes.

The chicken double-layer nachos were loaded with toppings! I found the chicken a little mild in flavor, but my husband absolutely loved it. The crispy beef taco, on the other hand, was perfect — crunchy shell, tasty filling, just a home run all around. The beef and bean tostada was another winner, and I can’t wait to order it again.

Overall, we really enjoyed our meal and will definitely be coming back to Rico’s. We’re even thinking about trying their catering next time!

Excellent Customer Service. @ Rico’s Authentic Mexican Takeout. I have known some of the Rico family since the 1980’s & they are great people. And so, genuine & down to Earth. And they really do love their customers too. All their food is Authentic too. Their food is so,good . And the prices are very reasonable. I highly recommend ” Rico’s ” anyone who loves to eat Mexican food like me. Which Mexican food is my favorite too. Rico’s is the Place to go. What I love about ” Rico’s is it is Family Owned & Operated. Plus, its great to support all the Mom & Pop Shops that we can.

Rico’s is by far my favorite take out place. I am a regular and they always greet me by name when I come in, and I have heard them do this with other customers as well. The service and staff are amazing. Their food is absolutely delicious and I go there as often as I can. I recently moved out of Saginaw, but any time I am in town I go pick up some lunch, even if it’s out of my way, because it is so good! Highly recommend the Enchiladas, Steak Fajitas, and Bean Tostadas. The nachos are also excellent. I would give them more than 5 stars if I could. It is my favorite comfort meal.

It says authentic Mexican food. It’s not tasty. The prices for a dinner is around $19 The tostadas are good but otherwise it doesn’t do justice to Mexican food.

I have lived close enough to Ricos to smell the frying tacos from my porch, but had never been. As a life long fan of Mexican food, I don’t know why I hadn’t tried them. The amount of time I wasted is so sad. The deep fried steak tacos have brought a lot of joy. So so good

I recently started working in the area and told the guys at work I’ve been looking for a good enchilada. They promptly recommended Rico’s and even bought me lunch. I’ve been back multiple times and am never disappointed. They are always extra busy and pulling in odd somewhat discouraging at first but they efficiently get through the customers so quickly and are extra friendly and helpful and seem to remember everyone by name that has been there before. They greeted me by name at the door on just my second trip in.. amazing. Everything I’ve tried so far has been good and I have no complaints. I need to have lunch from there no less than once a month at this point. Excellent food excellent service extremely friendly people. I support Rico’s

If I could give 0 stars I would. I have been in Saginaw for about 8 months now and I must say all the food choices suck. I love Mexican so my wife suggested this place and I’m VERY picky about my food but I said ok why not. Man I wish I hadn’t. We got the nacho tray or whatever you call it here and we began serving. I’m looking at it like idk but tasted it anyway. NO FLAVOR. Ok fine, so I grabbed one of the sauces they give you with it. I open it and start to pour…what do I notice…A FRIGGIN LONG HAIR. I was disgusted. What a waste of $22 and some change because at this point I didn’t want none of the food. Ended up ordering dominos. I don’t even want nothing replaced cuz I will NEVER eat here again but dang Rico’s can I get my money back? I mean c’mon guys what is up around Saginaw? I mean who wants hair in their food. Money down the toilet.

Great to call in orders ahead of time as wait can be long! Staff is all super friendly and they take cash and card now which is great and makes me love this place more! All of their food is great from the sides, chicken and beef tacos, enchiladas, tostadas, chips, etc. they even have drinks too. Definitely a go to for a great authentic eat! Will not disappoint!

You know it’s a shame im here writing this because Rico’s use to be SO good when the mom was running the business years ago. Since then the food has gotten terrible on top of that depending on who’s working you may have to argue one of the daughters there has a HORRIBLE attitude. We ordered enchilada dinners that were under seasoned and dry. The hot sauce was also bland which use to have tons of flavor. Rice was dry and beans were bland. The sour cream saved the show. The deep fried taco, with ground beef meat was SO dry. It seems they have went up
On prices but the food quality is being left behind. Beyond disappointed. I spent over $60 here and the food was TRASH. I’ll never go back again. Ever. Which is sad because this place use to be a staple in my household not anymore. It belongs in the trash!

That was a new kid at the counter and he got my friend’s order all wrong. They finally got it straightened out. However she did ask for ground beef burrito dinner and she got shredded beef so she wasn’t very happy about that. I got the single layer ground beef nachos and they were just okay.
