This place was totally empty when we walked in the only employee was having a heated conversation on phone.im Colombian just to put that out there.this woman spun my head, communication was a breakdown. The the body language came like, let me know when you know what you want, and got back on phone. It seems to me that us being the only customers she would show a little bit more appreciation.we got frustrated and walked out…this place not to be confused with the other Rico pan by fire station….

First time in strip shopping center as I just recently moved into Miami Lakes. This small, cute restaurant has a big menu, plenty of tables, some very nice waitresses & just a very friendly atmosphere! I just wanted to sample a few Columbian dishes to take home. The chicharron con yuca frita & the area con queso were delicious! I am looking forward to stopping again & eating a soup & maybe a Picasa! Super service, clean & neat!

My sister and I frequent this place for dinner; we feel we’re eating with family. This family own business feels like you walked into your grandma’s kitchen. Their service is warm and the food is even better. I love when one of the daughters is there and she turns whatever live soccer game is on. I love my Colombian peeps

Come daily to this restaurant for the best colombian plates and desserts. My favorites from here are bandeja Paisa and arroz con pollo. Also ajiaco, arroz con leche and of course pan de bonos. Real home made orange juice. Authentic arepas con queso y arepas de choclo, chorizos, morcilla campesina, empanadas and more. Many options from the bakery including tamales. You can also find the known Colombian sodas and juices . A few Colombian candies and sweets.

Bought 4 Lechonas for $15 each and the portions was so small
Than the palm of my hand the manager didn’t care at all rude and said go ahead and put a bad review, unbelievable what a waste
Of personal and professionalism.

I frequent a lot of Colombian restaurants so I feel I have good judgment of the cuisine. As I entered the restaurant we were not even greeted even though there was not anyone there. I ordered an appetizer that never came out. I got my plate and didn’t even get utensils for 7 minutes because I asked for them. The customer service there sucks. I mean seriously utensils should be on table once you order. I ordered off the menu and the price at check out was $3 more to be told the menu isn’t updated. I’m over it. The food taste was sub par . There’s too many Colombian restaurants to go to. My fav the Fondita well priced and great customer service.

I am happy I stumbled upon this small family Colombian gem. From the moment you enter, you are welcomed with friendly smiles. The authenticity of the dishes is absolutely remarkable. The sancocho which is available daily is a must try. Their empanadas are crispy and fresh. They also cater. We ordered a picada for a party and everyone, I mean everyone loved it! Whether you’re looking to enjoy a quick bite, a quick lunch a nice dinner or throwing a party, this restaurant delivers every time. See you guys soon!
